Brian (aka Batman ;) .....)
I thought maybe Sarian, even went outside to look at mine, but I just couldn't tell for sure....But I do back up your theory that that's probably it (although I submit the white knight as a back-up.....but now you know why I suck at buying lottery tickets!) Anywhooooo.....lol....
Thanks once again for your help when the call goes out!
Badseed, you just let me know when you need to unload a few things...I'm in need of a few more (ya right, but I get them anyway!) My mailman hates me already because of all the plants and packages that need to be delivered on a daily basis, so a few more can't hurt!
Ely....Thank you SO very much! I'm so ready to get "spring in my yard" going!
MerryMary
Need an ID for a new baby
Sarian and black velvet are the ones I kill just by looking at. I remember you looking for it BS, I talked you out of it I think it was the time of year.......LOL
If anyone is throwing them out....I could use a few dozen!!! LOL. How come you have the neatest of the neatest Aroids....and the few nurseries here with them (IF there are any) put horrendous prices on them because they have paid so much on ebay. Notfairnotfairnotfair!!!!!! :>)

LOL, thats what I keep saying about Florida,LOL. Seems to me they have more of the neatest things while up here we have mostly the really ordinary and have to pray that we either get really lucky to find one or someone will feel sorry enough for us they grant us a little bitty one from their own collection.
Shoot Carol, don't feel so bad. I get a big chuckle every year when I am mailing brugs, sun coleus, canna, bananas, ears, etc to FL, CA, GA, MS, etc. I have friends that even joke that it's sort of weird to be getting their 'tropicals' from a girl in Ohio. LOL
ROFLMAO
You didn't tell me you had Daylillies....OH...that puts a whole new light on it.....
And I just bought you that Alocasia....
Me.
LOL You knew I had daylilies! We talked about trading for them and never got around to it. You still want daylilies? :)
So Dravencat's little pot is going to grow up to be huge?? Shoot, I do like huge. Do the huge ones still have those nicely mottled stems?
Where did you find it? A regular nursery? Not that I want one. LOL
(Kell who is busily running down every website and nursery she knows. LOL)
I will have you know Chele, you had me go to Enid's site just now by mentioning it on this thread. You are no friend of mine!! LOL I am so easy, it is embarrassing.
I see you mentioned Colocasia gigantea. I found one labeled Colocasia giganteum (I assume it is the same) the other day for so cheap I had to pick it up. The only trouble is if it grows, there will be no room left for me on my little lot.
LOL, Kell, I found it at a little off the main road nursery right down the street from me. The whole pot cost me 17.95 before tax. I pulled it out to take a look at the root system and boy am I gonna have my hands full.
Oh, Draven, when those babies grow, can you spare one for me? I am sure I could send something interesting!
So tell me they had a BOGO sale and mine will be here when? LOL
mwahahaha, I got hte very last pot they had. Ill keep this thread in mind tho when I go to seperate them and you guys will get first dibs absolutly. Ya'll are just as nuts as me so who better to get squirrely with. LOL.
OMG just had a thought, I havnt even counted how many are in the silly pot! I think Im loosing my mind.
LOL, couldnt wait. 16 with the smallest being about 5 inches high. I think I did pretty dog gone good on this buy.
Last year I bought my black marble EE from the same place, I paid $10 and got about 8-10 plants in the pot.
This is one of the reasons I dont go there too often, she always has something I cant say no to even if its an herb Ive been looking for.
I have nursery like that. Never fails to excite me. Like today. I feel in the need of an adenaline high so I may have to stop in there. Sounds like you got a great deal! I want to see them when they have grown huge so I can be so jealous. What a sight.
I think Id be much much safer in a bakery, LOL.
But plants are lo-cal and fat free and better for you in the long run. :) I'm only looking after your best interest. LOL
Plants also last alot longer than a strawberry cheesecake or a Death By Chocolate cake....
LOL
Seeeeee, more fun for the money. Now go tell your hubby all that and see if he buys it. LOL
Got any of that cake? Sounds kinda good.....
LOL, he says(as he does that big "im just tolerating this" sigh) that I could have worse habits or hobbies, LOL.
I wish I had some of that cake, mmmm, but I just finished off a large frosty.
You could have bought a pack of seeds instead of that frosty....LOL
I always tell my hubby "At least I am at home and you don't have to worry about me.". hehehe
