My computer's home....

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

It seems like the only part of the home that gets messy and stays that way is the family computer desk! Is is DH's assorted junk & mail laying around? Is it the inevitable pile waiting to be scanned? Or is a computer just a "mess magnet " since the whole family spends time there?

Mine has everything from notes, bills, cats and other assorted items on the desk. Your's is neat compared to mine. Ain't even gonna post a pic.

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Oh, come on... I don't want to be the only person in the world that lives with a messy computer area. My desk at work and computer are always MUCH neater, but I put things away (unlike my family at home...)

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

Love the dog under the desk !
he knows where the action is ?
Is there a prize for the most mess ?
I win ! LOL , not even room for a cat

lol!!
If I were to post a photo, you'd surely deem me the 'winner', but I wouldn't dare!!

My son spends 1/2 his life up there.....plates, cups, mugs, food....it's disgusting!

No wonder I only get online at work ;)

Clay Center, KS(Zone 5b)

We live in two different places, two computers each place; work in Kansas City & live in a 5th wheel and home in Clay Center KS with a kitchen desk & computer and a snack bar with the laptop, more mess than I ever thought I'd tolerate, but yes, they are clutter magnets. (Work computer is messy too, is there a common denominator here?) Not posting any photos!!!

Lilesville, NC(Zone 7b)

Well, I thought i would take a pic of my desk real quick as well..This is where i am when i am not doing the Mom, Wife, or Slavery thing...I even put a boarder around it to make it look purty..

Red you are so neat ,
All your ducks are in a row
Well 20 years ago i was so neat i could not sleep if I thought there was one thing out of place . Age has changed me in to slob

Tazzy--when we're on the computers 1/2 the day and in our gardens the rest, when is there time to do much else?

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

if there is i have books to read and life is getting shorter and it time for ME!
Not one of the 4 other people living in this house care about helping or house so , i have retired LOL

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Books to read swinging in a hammock in your garden?

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

Yes must get hammock
I tried levitating , don't laugh , your just jealous because you don't hear the voices!

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

The voices are not a problem. It's the ghosts hanging around all the time that drive me crazy.

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

They are more fun than voices I like to watch them walk through walls .Of course, I am not crazy.
I am just on a different planet, then most people
I am unique.

Mendy, THAT was cruel! Showing us a cleaned up desk and making us slobs feel bad? Ha Ha

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

Oh, but did you find a pic in that link of what it normally looks like??? ;-) When it's cleaned off like it is in the pic above, it only stays like that for about 5 minutes tops!

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5b)

tazzy - that's the way I've come to feel about house cleaning. If there are other able-bodied adults in the house who don't care, why should I? If I don't get to it today, maybe tomorrow.......................life is too short. Linda (friend of Wanda)!

Camilla, GA(Zone 8a)

This a neater moment , if you can believe that...My desk is total chaos and nobody but me can find a thing, lol..

A messy desk means you get sole possession of it. And the cat, of course.
