Kelly I just cmae back from Lowes in Osage Beach. The So Sweet sure look like they have it. I told them and they did not care so I will be writing to lowes on the internet this evening.

waukesha, WI(Zone 5a)

Spent about an hour this morning on the phone with Roadrunner tech support. Appears the problem may be with them, but we went through several procedures, unplug this turn that off wait, turn it on, now unplug the other thing turn everything off then wait turn it all on boot reboot....Yawnnnnnnnnnnnnn still don't have internet connection although the screen says I do and there is supposedly a strong signal.
DH was going to call them back tonight as they said if that didn't work, there are other options. But now he is glued to his computer, so it might not happen. Funny, using their digital phone service, she said, "write this down because if you turn off the computer, we will disconnect and not be able to talk. "

Kinda frustrating, new toy and no playing. And isn't it nice that I still have the desktop to use otherwise I'd be going through withdrawal!

Keeping it brief, for a change !!!! ~~~~ to all!

Well Hi again every one, got the puter problem fixed and am back up and running. Now to remember NOT to touch that button again...I need the 2x4 taken to me, I just finished watering and repotting my 5 coldframes and it dawned on me I have alot of seedlings for my small yard, Are you sitting down?? 220 containers of annuals and/or perennials that does not include the vegis or herbs. And the spare bedroom is full too but I only have 75 pots in there. Oh bother I think I got just a wee bit carried away ;o)). I'd posts pictures but don't know where.
Well ~~~ to all and loved all the pictures of everything and everyone. Hugs to those who need them. Have to go water the bedroom....Lauri

Kelly---- my letter is gone to Lowes. Now lets see what happens. But one letter wiull not do it. going to take several from several people that have had the problem are have seen it at Lowes. I do not hold Lowes responsible i hold the grower responsible and i told Lowes that. I told them i was sure he was aware of what he was shipping I do not see how he could not have been. The guy in the store sask me how do you get rid of it and I told him by destroying the plant because there was no cure. He looked sheepish.

Hi all
Just popping in to say I thought *everyone* watered their bedroom! LOL
Lauriwilson, I don't have *that* many ... but I've gotten waaay to carried away!

Meezers, I had your chicken enchilladas for supper tonight. So much easier than my old recipe. Just wonderful!

Okay I wanted dessert, so I looked around to see what I had. I broke up an angel food cake in bite size pieces and drippled some chocolate liqueur over it, topped it with chocolate fudge pudding, whipped cream and strawberries. Ain't bad! There's some on the counter if anyone wants some.

Hi all,

A better day today--- at least I didn't forget anything major. As usual did not accomplish as much as I wanted to, but I did get some of the garden raked and the wildflower mix seeds scattered at the end. I raked the area just outside one side of the (falling down) garden fence, but didn't quite get to getting the peas planted. A few of the plants survived the greenhouse experiment and I do have quite a few seeds left. Picked up some of the junk that 's on the little front shade bed and noticed that there seems to be more moss than ever out there. I'll have to make sure to put in extra lime and more fertilizer, I think. It's all perennials and tends to be a bit neglected in favor of the veggie garden, but there are signs of life (besides the moss, I mean).

Darius, sorry about your tomatoes! I hate to see all that work go down the drain, but glad that you have replacements. Nice of you to put so much work into the plant transportation project.

Robert, forgot to mention --- kudos on your all but completed project too.

Hi Marie, welcome to the coffee klatch.

GG, I hope all goes well with your SO and his job prospects. Good luck with the roofing project. Nice picture of your family skating star.

Lauri, I know what you mean, and I don't even have the heat mats going yet for the tomato, pepper, eggplant, and whatever seed starts.

Mary, glad you finished your ride in good shape. Hope you have more time tomorrow to check back in.

Pati, cute pictures of your GGD. Hope things work out well for her.

Hi Bonnie, 101, sarv, M5, Dmcd, oz, suzieq, Maria, magoobu, and V-ann. Here's wishing you all restful nights AND pain-free awakenings.

Hi Folks,

Just checking in before i turn the computer off. Finished my passport application this evening. Have to get the minister of my church to sign it tomorrow if possible, then get it in the mail. They sure are getting complicated.

Went to the bank for the Viola Society - lots of memberships coming in because of the forthcoming International Congress which will be in Montréal. Haven't been able to find the deposit book since then so I could update the spreadsheet. And DH can't find his house/work keys. I reckon those things will show up and aren't worth spending a lot of time searching for.

Snow is now going rapidly on the front lawn. Back lawn will be a bit longer, but you can see the styrofoam covers over the roses now. If it gets as warm as they are predicting by the end of the week and if we get some sun, I could have a few crocuses by the end of the week. ;-)

Good night all.

Well, I have had a busy day, and a frustrating time trying to log on tonight. Treated me as someone who had not been here before. I am hurt!! Not even gonna try to comment, as every one has been chatty. Rest assured that I have read everything, and chuckled, groaned, sympathized at all the right places. Please keep me in your T&P, my back is sure killing me!! Thought that it would get better, but I went out this morning, and did some clean up of some beds, and now paying the price. Have sat with heat packs all night, and now have one of those heat sticky things on. DS brought me a pain pill a while ago, and it has taken the edge off the pain, but still know that it is there.

While cleaning out a bed today, I came across the cutest little flower. I had planted tulips there, but it is nothing like I have ever seen. Was going to try to post a pic, but since it seems the puter is slow, will wait until tomorrow to try it.

Have an eye exam tomorrow, with the MD, I have to go every three months. Don't notice any difference, but waiting for the right stage of this disease, so that maybe there is a laser treatment that will help.

Had a good chat with McCool, and 101 today. Then as I was coming in the door from being outside, phone was ringing, and when I answered it was a DG member from Canada, Saskatchewan. We had arranged a trade of tomato seed, and she was calling to apologize about not being prompt in sending her end of it. Turns out she had gall bladder surgery, and was in hospital for 3weeks. VIann, is that usual procedure? Don't know much about Canadian medical system. Anyway, thought that was really nice, and not necessary at all.

The church is having a cleaning day tomorrow, and I don't know if I will be able to go or not. By the time I get done with my eye appointment, home and changed, it may be too late. God, I need a good excuse!!

Well, gonna try to get to bed, and hopefully awake tomorrow without any back pain.

I will try to log on tomorrow morning, hope all the gremlins that have affected this site are long gone tomorrow mornig.

Good night all, and hope a quiet restful night to you.

My big chore today was cleaning up the patio where the dogs stay. It had about 50 pounds of dirt that they had carried in on their feet and fur. I washed all the blankets, still need to wash the rugs, took a couple of rugs out to the fence and beat the dickens out of them. LOL

Looks so much nicer and smells better too.

That was basically my day, went to PT and I am now scheduled for my last four weeks of PT at two times a week instead of three. Said I am making very good progress. Have the doctor's appointment tomorrow to let him have a look at the therapists report on my progress.

Stopped by another nursery to see what they had in, but nothing good yet. Was wanting to see her cannas, but she doesn't get them in until the middle of April. Orders from Horns so they will be good ones. Can't wait.

I went ahead and started the daily for tomorrow.

Have a great night.
