Coffee and...For Friday, March 24, 2006 =^..^=
I was laying in bed this morning listening to the radio and they were telling we had an inch of snow on the ground. I said a few nasty words, then got out of bed and found that we had NO snow here - so now there is a smile on my face. It's the little things that count..
Have funeral visitation at 2 this afternoon. Gosh, I hate those things. Guy that died was my age...and his wife just retired to be with him. Doesn't it seem like that happens often.
I had a scare last night - I awoke and was having trouble breathing - I tried to just relax and do some deep breathing, but my lungs felt 'sticky' and wouldn't expand. Of course then I really panic...did get up and pop a xanax and that seemed to settle me down. Think it's time to call the doc and see what she'd suggest.
GG - how is Bill doing with the 3rd shift?
Mary - be safe on your first trip - we'll all be rooting for you that you make good time- with little soreness!
It has been wild around here this month. Just yesterday there were 3 juvenile escapees (a man a few weeks ago) and then tragic accidents with several deaths. Last night one car T boned another and the only person left alive in both vehicles was a baby - all the adults were killed. Homeless person was hit on the xway the night before. I hate to turn on the tv - it is so full of deaths.
Well, all those dishes from last night's dinner are in the sink soaking, so I need to get busy on them.
Weather girl just said " roads are trecherous - drive slowly" - we still have nothing our way!
Hi all! I'm early even though I read through the rest of yesterday's posts.
McCool-I totally agree I would hate to be a teenager again. 20's were fine. I'm a spring chicken? Well, I'm certainly chicken!! I can't comment on the spring part since I'm not sure I remember what the heck it is!!
Ann-what a schedule again! I would completely blow my top with people who cancel after being committed to play since August. I am definitely not a people person, I always said I'm back office, not front office...no patience for nonsense. And the guy at the FC would have been subjected to violence long ago, too.
MAry-You're off! Have a great time, great weather, great luck, and take lots of pictures!!
sarv-sounds like you have a gloomy day in store. I hope you get through it okay and maybe even get a little sunshine.
I'm off to the coffeepot, back later!!
Good morning!
Sarv - Sounds like you maybe you had a panic attack. Dr. told me that if a xanax made it better, that all it was. That feeling of not being able to breath is the worst. I get dizzy when I get that way too. I take paxil every day so that I don't get the panic attacks. With all that stuff going on in your area, it's enough to make anyone edgy. DH went out with the tow truck to a nasty accident. One person died and another in serious condition. One vehicle had a couple of mexicans with no drivers license. Do you believe that!
Not working today, so I have a long to-do list. I have done one load of clothes and took the sheets off the bed. Have them in the wash now. Going to drop of taxes today. Grrrr. I always worry that i left out something important since I'm such a scatterbrain. Also have to go to the bank and told DS I would take him out for breakast. He is still out of work because of the arm.
Now they are talking about snow showers here for the weekend. I have this little tent like greenhouse thing I wanted to put up. Now I don't know if I should wait or not. I can't put anything in it yet since night temps won't be warm enough until later next week. Grrrr I'm soooo ready for warmer weather. Think I need to visit friends tanning bed to get that sun-warmed feeling.
Well, gotta get my butt outa this chair and get a shower. I still need to give the tax stuff a final once over. Hope to be back home by lunchtime. See ya later!
I am snowed in. Well, not really enough to miss work, but I called in anyway. I have a lot to do this afternoon and a special dinner tonight. I will do a make-up work day tomorrow where I'll dig some Autumn Joy for the GA RU, lol.
While I'm at archives this afternoon, I will try to scan and send a couple of photos to you all. I've posted this picture before but since we live in the "Land of Waterfalls" and some of you have not seen Whitewater Falls, I will post it again now. It is the tallest falls in the eastern U.S.
Hi every one, have not been here for a while, been busy with family and errands not to mention Samson who seems to want to play now all the time since getting rid of that waful cone around his neck. Have been able to clean some in the garden but it has been too cold to be out there for any length of time.
Wonderful picture of water falls, have seen quite a few of them but not this one
Here he is, happy once more
Morning everyone
Well at least it is for just a bit yet. Am running around with a mess on my hands. Washed a load of clothes and the $#&% thing has done it again. Yep, it *flooded* again. The only good thing I can see to come from it is ... I can't wash anymore clothes today. *sigh*
It's suppose to get down in the 30's here by the week-end. Have been going around checking all my plants to see if I think everything will be okay. I think next year I'll try to restrain myself and wait until after April to start planting. that's what I usually do and don't remember battling the squirrels, etc. I think the weather made me forget myself. ;)
Hi Maria~ so good to see you back. Please tell Samson thanks for the kisses and I enjoyed talking to him the other day. LOL LOL
Hi Sarv and Suzie will just wave for now and go clean up my mess. ~~~
... Elaine
Ahhh,, there's Maria's handsome boy! So far, Sammi isn't bothering his stitches, so no Elizabethan collar for him. Good to see him happy again.
And Elaine has a clean floor thanks to the washing machine! That's not killing the laundry monster, that 's taking him for a swim! I'm sure he appreciated it.
Our crazy weather is cold again and it was snowing until about an hour ago. Sorry to be sending it down towards our southern friends, but maybe this will be the end of it.
Anne, (Magoobu) nice to see you back. We understand how life interferes with our DG pleasures. Carat's been among the missing too, and it's good that she popped in to say hello.
Sarv, my golf partner uses one of those exercise balls and she loves it. The first one she got wasn't big enough, and may have been lacking in strength, because the first time she used it, she flattened it!! She got a better one and likes it very much, but I haven't been tempted. If I get on the floor, there better be something handy for me to pull myself up with, or I'll be there until DH comes home.
Mary, good luck on the ride, hope you remember all your necessities. It sounds grueling. Love the mousie vision....A couple years ago I bought a couple of videos for the cats (yeah, I know I'm nuts) and they loved it! They would sit for hours and watch the birds, mice, etc. I used to put it on when we were going to be gone for the day. There's a picture below.
Carat, when we built, our builder told us that ceiling fans were out of style, but we put them in anyway. I love them. They help circulate the heat in winter and the cool air in summer. The only downside is dusting them, and if I ask DH to bring in the big ladder, he'll climb up and do it for me. Cats like the ladder too!!
Susan, (9kitty) did the trimmers clean up their debris? Last year the town was chipping limbs and yard waste, so I asked them what they did with it. Got a truckload of excellent mulch for a couple of areas that needed it. Not the best, because it's not really chopped, it's more shredded, but for the areas I needed it for it was fine. And free.
McCool, LOL at your rant. I can't send DH to the store for more than two items. That's all the info he can handle. Anymore than that and I end up with tuna packed in oil, or some weird brand I never heard of, and he wouldn't use a coupon if his life depended on it. Must be that guy thing where if they don't do it well, they trust you won't ask them to do it again. (Bal, Ernie and Oz are excepted from this as we know how competent they are).
The other night, I loaded the dishwasher, but didn't start it, because I knew we were having rice pudding later. DH took our used pudding dishes and put them in the dishwasher, and I called out, "It needs soap", so, he put the dishwasher detergent in the dispensers. The next afternoon, I went to empty it, and put the dishes away, and they were dirty! My first thought was %#$@% dishwasher, something else has gone wrong. NO. He just didn't turn it on. Guy thing, I guess.
Robert (Bal), isn't that your friend you made breakfast for one day and posted a photo for us? I'm sorry to hear he has had a stroke, but glad he is doing well. You've been working so hard. When will the training start for your new kid?
Ahhh, so if life begins at 40, I'm only 30, and nothing should hurt when I crawl out of bed in the morning! Now if only someone would find the fat fairy, and do something about my rear end.
Dcat, did you win anything at the casino? I take my profit there at the buffet table, not sure they are coming out ahead on me!
~~~to everyone, have a sunny day!
See y'all later!
Sheila
Edited for idiocy.
M5 ---- I am not that competent. I put the wrong kind of soap in ours onetime. Had a heck of a mess for awhile.
Back from the work out and a stop at MIL's. We laughed so hard at huff/puff that my sweat was from my gut jiggling up and down. It was packed today and great fun.
Stop at MIL was the ususal. Her telling me that her other son was the boss of DH. blah blah blah. I am just snipping back about it to her - stooped to her level for sure. We we all invited to the new SIL for a home interior party. Now there isn't a thing I want, but to be polite I will go. MIL wants me to drive her - which is fine. Other SIL says she wont' go - it will be too late for her - 9pm - I told her I would come pick her up and deliever her home again -but she still won't bend. They are the strangest - weirdest family I have ever met.... I am embarassed that my name is the same as theirs...
Just washed the hair to be clean smelling for the funeral parlor. Afterwards a friend and I are going to our local garden store - a reward for enduring the funeral stuff. Hope I can keep my purse zipped - I don't need a thing....well, maybe just one treat...
Wood, did you really get snow or just a few flakes?? Any reason is good enough to skip work! Beautiful waterfalls - wouldn't you love to have one in your back yard!
IO1 - stinko that the washer decided to go on vacation again....and leave you with a mess. Hopefully it didn't run into any carpeted areas- that's what ours does - plus soaks up the walls - major $%%^!!
Time for a little grub before I set out....
Hey, everybody, I am baaaaack!! M5, didn't buy guccis for the squaws, but I bought the whole Indiana basketball team air jordons!!
I am going off line, read and catch up, then be back.
m5-you are so funny, the picture is PRECIOUS
Woohoo Defoe! Waving at ya, girl! ~~~
Y'all I have a funny story. You know they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder? Well, I have been babying this lavender plant that I found still living from last year which I actually thought had died. It came back and I threw a package of seeds in with it. the seeds popped up, so I've been watching and googooing over it every day. It has just grown like a weed. I have patted myself on the back. Went out today ... like I said to be sure things would be okay. Got to inspecting my little lavender cause the squirrels have been up to their mischief again and noticed that most of what I've been seeing is a *weed* smack in the middle of my lavender. *sigh* I was soooo amazed at the growth rate of this plant! LOL LOL
Always something to keep ya smilin!
... Elaine a
Well, after a little over an hour, I am caught up. We had a wonderful time. Got there about 2:00 yesterday afternoon, and checked in, then hit the slots. By 6:00, I had managed to make a sizeable donation. Had the buffet, and it was mexican night. Very good stuff. Everybody groaned the whole night, not to mention the body sounds that were heard. We acted like 4 year olds. Couldn't help it, must a been the refried beans. LOL. Took a break and watched the news, then back to the casino. Was there until about 10:00, left another sizable donation. Then watched 2 basketball games before sleep. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. I had the most awsome quiche. Then of course we had to make our farewell trip back to the casino. All in all, I bought Air Jordans for the entire Indiana University Basketball team. My D(twin)S is the luckiest person I have ever seen. She won about $300, just on slots. We only do this about 2 times a year, so, I can justify it. DH was moaning about all the starving children we could help, and I told him to go ahead and give his money to the starving children, I do that on a weekly basis, but I was spending this on me!!
I didn't make notes, but I know that we have 2 new people. Welcome, to this zany bunch, the cyber treats are good, no calories. I ate some of those just awhile ago. Thanks to the newbie who offered them.
Kittymom, yes, you can do the bird bath. All you need is 1 each of 14", 12", 10" terra cotta pots, 1 large terra cotta saucer. Paint them any way you want with Acrylic pain (I use spray), decorate them with stickers, or your own art work. Turn the 14" pot upside down, place the 12" on top of it, glue the inside lip of the 12" one, then glue the inside lip of the 10" one place it on top of the 12" one, after the glue dries, spray with Polyurethane. You can put any decoration you want in the bottom of the saucer, but you will need to seal it with silicone, so the birdies have a smooth surface. Then you are done.
I took the blue one in the picture I posted to DS, but in the ride, (DH driving) he took a curve too fast, it turned over and broke the top pot. So I had to bring it home, where I will repair it and give it to her later.
Mary, yes, the quilt (blue and pink) pattern is Drunkard's path.
Don't want to give the impression that I made All of the quilts. Some were made by my mother, DH's aunt, DMIL, my aunt, and many, by me. Have carpel tunnel now, and just cannot do this kind of work anymore. I probably have 40 or more. Just love them. Keep them in a trunk, over the backs of chairs/couches, on the foot of the beds, so they are everywhere. When I get tired of what I have out, I pack them away, and put out others from the trunk.
Well, have to get up out of this chair, and do something constructive.
Will be back later.
~~~~~~ waving frantically at all, since I didn't mention most of you by name.
101, ya gonna have to get DH to look for you!!. Well, maybe that particular weed will bloom!!
Hi to ya.
Thanks defoe, I am going to try that. One more project to add to my list of when I get a round tuit.
Actually, I have one, but I keep it in a drawer and don't get it out much. LOL
Susan
=^..^=
wow busy here as usual!!! Waving to you all hope it is a pleasant day for everyone.
Sorry for those who are not sleeping well or in pain my hugs to you.
Maria wonderful to see you and Samson!!
Thanks to you all for your hellos and I will try hard to stay in touch busy day today and tomorrow but checking in and catching up.
Casey always happy to see you popping in too I hear you have been absent as well I hope for good reasons and all is well.
Everybody here is so wonderful at keeping to this thread and together what a wonderful group! welcome to the new ones I did not catch all the names but read your posts!!!! fun fun fun here and lots of good treats!!
Anne
A big hello to the newbies - maybe that means new items on the serving counter! Seems I haven't baked a thing for weeks! I'm really hungry for raspberries something, maybe pie... LOL
Well, MIL is doing pretty well. I left her in her apt last night, overnight! a bit scary for me, but ya gotta try ... she had her 'lifeline' and phone right besider her. Said she made it to the bathroom twice during the night with no problems. I helped her get up for the day, put on her brace and TED hose - boy do I hate those things!!! The brace is on for one more week, then she should be able to take care of herself completely.
The 'kids' are leaving Mayo about 2 pm today. I'm praying for a safe, smooth journey home. It's 250 miles. DS has a Jeep with a lift kit so it is not a good vehicle for this type of journey - he better drive slow and make lots of stops. The nurse said they would send along percocet for pain. I'll heave a sigh of relief when they get here, this is a given!!!!
Maria - what I wouldn't give to get some hugs and licks from Samson right now ... I'm feeling kinda low, getting a crappy cold, tired of worrying about the sickies and no doggie to love on me.... :(
maybe someone needs to go to the shelter and get a cute furbaby to brighten the day!! AWWWW
Hi All,
Just popping in again really quickly in between customers. And, the Saga continues,,,,,
Welcome to "As Kelly's Insane World Turns". Bill is a walking zombie from not getting enough sleep and he can hardly walk because the boots he was wearing were not right for his feet. He talked to the secretary at his old job and she said she would talk to Glenn and see if there was any chance Bill could get his job back. Glenn said to have Bill call him. Bill called Glenn yesterday morning, they talked and Glenn said he'd talk to the owner, but didn't think there would be a problem with Bill getting his job back.
Glenn called this morning and said the owner, Wayne was really impressed and glad Bill called and yes he could come back in 2 weeks. They are in contract negotiations with the company that frustrates Bill so much and they want to wait until they actually have a contract.
So, if they don't sign the contract I don't know if Bill will get his job back for sure. Now we're in limbo. I don't know if *I* can last 2 more weeks of him working nights. I guess we'll see how it unfolds. I'm praying really hard Again,,,LOL I would think God would get sick of me asking and say, "Yes already, now leave me alone for awhile",,,,,LOL
I'm going up to International Falls, MN Sat. a.m. My niece is in figure skating. Her club has an Ice Show at the end of the skating season which is always the end of March. So, my Mom is on her way up from Chicago today. We leave Sat. a.m. around 7:30 - 8:00 a.m., watch the Ice Show Sat. at 7:00 p.m., go to sleep, get up, eat breakfast and get back on the road to come home. Wicked trip, but worth it to see Kelsey skate.
She started when she was 5 and is now 15. She has a duet this year which is good,,,means she's doing well. She got new skates this year,,,said she was jumping out of her boots last year,,,don't know why she didn't tell her Mom,,,,anyway, she says the new skates are wonderful,,,,make a world of difference. At $800.00 I would hope so. I told her she could get skates at Wal Mart for a WAY better price,,,,she just laughs.
She practices most nights from about 5 til around 9 or 10, I believe she tries to get most of her homework done between after school and the time she goes to the arena. She's pulling a 4.00 GPA. Wants to be a Cosmetic Surgeon,,,,,yeah,,,,told her she takes after her Auntie in the brains dept.,,,,LOL
Well, customer here soon. Just wanted to say hi to all. Miss having time for coffee everyday, but at least the Salon is busy. Haven't even tried to catch up today,,,,it's hopeless at this point, just not enough time. I just hope that all who are sick, feel better soon,,,all who are having rough days, have better days coming soon and all who are having great days,,,continue to do so.
Kelly
Kelly
Hi Kelly
So glad to see you checking in. Sure hope things will work out for bill. I'd say wish you could sit down a bit longer but guess that would jinks the business, so won't do that. LOL Your trip sounds so nice. Bet she's a pretty sight on those skates. Have a nice time. :)
Mags, so good to see you checking back in. Sloooow down. You make my head spin!!! :)
To everyone else ... waving. Must get back to the kitchen. I have a corn beef on in the crock pot for the week-end and am fixing Balsamic-Glazed Pork Tenderloin with shallots for supper.
... Elaine
Elaine, saying hello to Samson for you, he loves it when I do that
M5, yes Samson is gorgous and such a love, so are your kitties, the make me smile. Had to laugh about your friend flatten the ball...hello!
I'd e 37 when life began at 40, those were good times.
Kooger, if only you lived next door I'd send Samson over in a flash to hug you and probably knock you down he'd be so excited to meet you.
Sarv, too bad we have no choice in choosing who we are related to but still it is nice we have friends that we met and liked.
Kelly, I just can imagine seeing your niece skating, before I was 18 years old I lived on the skating rink, every day after school and loved every minute of it. The rink was just down a block from where I lived but here that was not possible to get to one and did not like to skate on a pond, was used to very smooth ice and my speed did not take to it without tripping over a lump of ice.
Hi again everyone! Went to the funeral home and had to drive around for awhile because NO ONE was there!! Showed up 15 min later and there were three people. Strangest thing I have ever attended. It wasn't in the paper, so many people didn't know! We stayed for quite a while .chatting
...
Went to the local garden center and got some 'cat grass' - my kitty is chewing on all my plants. This just started -she's been fine all winter. I'm potting up some seeds for her tomorrow. Managed to pick up some bring orange dahlia tubers too
GG= well the good news is that Bill may get his old job back - the two weeks is the 'not so good' news. We;re all rooting for him.
I love skating - did it all winter when I was younger - and was pretty good at it..Still have my skates, but don't dare do it anymore - too afraid of falling and busting my arse or wrists or something. That;s my favorite part of the Olympics.
You wouldn't believe it- it is snowing so hard that I cannot see the barn out back. The ground is all covered and it is coming down in huge flakes - makes me just sick....
Kooger, glad MIL spent a safe night. Hope the kids have a safe drive home too...then YOU put your feet up for a spell and do something 'just for you'
Defoe - a friend of mine just got back from the casino - she won $4000 - can you believe it!! I never win a thing. Just once I'd like to win!! Sounds like you cleaned up on the food tho!
Well, DH is snoring in his chair - wrestling is on tonight, so I will hit the bed early. He made a huge pot of swiss steak. Tasted good...
Anyone heard from Darius? Hope she is feeling better...
I'm cold, so gonna get a blanket out and curl up...
Sarv, I won that several times at the casino, my husand used to take me there on my birthdays, he did not like to gamble but I told him once just put in a 3 quarters he wo $400.00 and gave it to me and I won 4000.00 playing with $ 5.00 coins, he was amazed. Have not been there since.
Maria - you are just too lucky... I think I should send you some $$ and have you buy some tickets for me!! The only thing I have ever won in my entire lifetime was a turkey!! Must be some hidden meaning in winning a turkey....
I got caught up reading from yesterday and today and wow. To everyone and you know who you are...LOL...Hi =0)) hope your days get better and those your days stay good and others who need hugs here ya go (((((HUGS)))).
Please pass the 2x4, I need it to talk to a certain "Dr" type person and then I will return it, hopefully not too dented. I just found out that my son has not been seeing a Dr. instead he has been seeing a nurse practioner with no Dr. on site. They claim there are not enough Dr.s so he was assigned a NP. I , not so calmly, explained that that was hog wash and wanted a Dr for further evaluations, nope. Sooooo I found a Dr that will see him and review x-rays and cat scans and then we will go from there, and he is willing to wait for the insurance to settle and not send the account to collections........TGIF as my head hurts and I could scream. Well I think I need to bake something. The mentioned raspberrys sound good, how about raspberry/creamcheese bars??? Oh I will post the crap dessert recipe on recipes in the morning....must find asprin and hit the hay.....Lauri
Oh wow, hope everyone who needs it gets a big hug from a loved one. Everyone who is in turmoil has things settle down, and those who are sick and hurting are on the road to recovery and peace.
Kooger, you have been through too much. When the kids get home, please take a day or two for yourself, and if you do nothing but rest, hope that it restores you.
Magoobu, glad you popped back in. Missed you.
lauriewilson, those NP are good for sniffles and such, but I think that in addition to their name tags, they should be made to wear one that says "I AM NOT A DOCTOR". Glad you found a real Dr, that will review all the x-rays, tests and such.
Maria, GG, Sarv, didn't know that we had ice skaters in our midst. The only skating I have ever done has been the unintentional kind, like sliding down the sidewalk, and it didn't necessarily involve the feet.
Sarv, that is so sad that only 3 people were at the funeral home. I hope that isn't any kind of commentary of the type of person he/she was. I hope that when I pass there will be people who remember me as being helpful to them in some way. On winning the turkey, I won one once, and I do think that was trying to tell me something. My D(twin)S, can start out with $5.00, and play the slots for hours and end up with way more than she started with. One time in Las Vegas, I won $800, and another time at a local casino I won $400.00 and I recall winning $200.00 one time, but all in all, not nearly won enough to offset what I spend. As I said, only go about 2x a year, and never spend more than what I can afford.
GG that is good news about SO, if they sign the contract. Maybe 3 weeks from now you can look back and shudder, that this 3rd shift wasn't too long. Tell him "Good luck" from me. You will be in my T&P.
101, that pork tenderloin sounds so good, and the corned beef, are you having company again this weekend? Sure hope that you just enjoy eating the leftovers as Reubens.
Well, I am going to check other forums, to see what folks have been up to in my absence. I can't imagine going on vacation, and not being connected every day. I just may have to find me a cyber cafe somewhere, and pay to talk to you all.
I will be back later.
Hi all
Just popping in to ask a fav. I've posted pics in the ID forum of a plant I'm growing but don't have any idea what in the world it is. If you have a chance please zoom over and take a look at it and see if you can ID it for me. Thanks! I do so love it. It's one of the first things I've *ever* grown from seeds. Y'all I'm getting hooked!!!
... Elaine
Defo! Glad to be back (so to speak) and try to keep up here .
Busy day here and one tomorrow to follow -- so happy to see everyone here and get back into the swing of things here.
I am off to bed soon and will try to pop in tomorrow but know I am always thinking of you all with warm wishes for wonderful days !!
Waving to you all and giving hugs to any who may need them.
Anne
Hi All,
Just checking in once before I go to bed. Have to be up and ready to go by 8:30, so will be in bed early tonight. Laundry is ready for the dryer so better get that taken care of. Have to pack in the a.m. and take my CPAP apart and get that cleaned and packed along with clothes, so will take me a few minutes longer than my usual 2 min. to pack,,,LOL
Only had time to briefly skim,,,,Thanks all for T&P for Bill's job, we can use all we can get. I'm taking my camera so will post a couple pics when I get back. Also will Try to catch up a bit.
Have a great weekend all,
Kelly
GG have a good trip, and I am looking forward to the pics.
101, went to ID forum, and I haven't a clue. I thought something was eating of the leaves, but noticed that all of them have the "chomped on" look. I will wait patiently for someone to come up with the answer.
Good night all, am going to go to bed earlier than usual, my celebrating just wore me out.
Sweet dreams everyone.
Another exciting day. Although I did do a few things.
Asia Anne had to go to the vet at 2:15 for her annual shots. So Snowcone came in at lunch and I thought he was sleeping in the recliner in the living room. But NO, when it was time to get Asia, he had managed to make her hide. We didn't know where she was but we were going to be late.
DH finally located her under the coach. So we got out the air bottle and puffed it and she came flying out went to my bedroom and behind the bed. Had to puff it at her again, poor little girl. Was sure upset by the time she got stuffed in the cage. So cried and cried all the way.
On the way home, a kitty had been killed on the road. I couldn't let it lay there so I turned around, went back, stopped with flashers on and went and moved the kitty. He reminded me of a long haired Indy. He hadn't been dead long, he was still warm and limp. His fur was so soft and he was a healthy kitty before you could tell. I petted his head and told him I was sorry. But I didn't cry. I was mad. Mad at the people that would let their beautiful kitty run around and cross that busy road. I just don't understand it.
I moved it because the last two kitties were left there until they were just greasy spots in the road. That makes me madder. Did nobody care enough about their little lives to move them off to the side where they wouldn't be continually run over.
I planted 70 anemone bulbs, put out 3 new dianthus plants, and tried to fill in some gopher damage in one of the flower beds. They are taking over. Very upsetting. You know those pincushion flowers? Well, they seem to like to have those as a roof for their little tunnels. I had to replant 3 and throw away 3 that didn't make it growing on air. ugh
I guess I better go get the daily up and quit ranting. It is getting late.
Susan
