Ann has nice variegation . She is small well about the crown size of the picture you showed above. I don't mind as long as it's not an older plant and they took leaves off and leave a long neck. I shall know when I trans-plant but right now looks good.
The Russian's fair-good. see when they grow they put them into 4 inch pots very young. Well you know the Yan-Selna I gave you in a 4 inch pot , well their not any where as nice. But last time I got some after putting them into light mix, clean pots they air circulation lights tender care they came back growing real nice ! Now ~ Ek-Snezhnyi Bars (Elena Korshunova)
"Snow Leopard" ~I grew from a leaf. Last year the leaves were $ 4.75 for one and mine was sure worth it :)) I love how my plant grew and bloomed and hope yours blooms fun and beautiful too ! I can't wait to see.
~ Give it special care ~ :)) You have suckers too ! I'm so excited.
I had two broked leaves of course I put them down. I will be growing many babies from the new ones too ! They Progate very fast !
Only one Russian plant was blooming. The blooms are small and not so smashing , it may be their first blooms ? I'll take pictures ! The plant ~ Ek-Snezhnyi Bars (Elena Korshunova)
"Snow Leopard" ~ I have blooming the blossoms are large vibrant knock you over when you see them !
I'd like to get more. They do progate with ease and grace, all but one I have grown well with nice big old fashion type blossom. If they grow easy for me I like this ! Some may be Vintage as one of the Hybridizer was an older man who has passed away.
I was reading Hybridizer's need to progate Av's that have good healthy growing traits, and disease resistant. And a lot of these new varieties are missing .The Russian varieties seem to have the good old fashion traits. :))
Those are the plants I got yesterday from Blue brid greenhouses
Their all great...but really like Ann. I guess I'm a softy for edged and varigated foilage.
Yes I have seen Ann at our shows she was
.Spectacular Rows and rows or variegated foliage just perfect a good 24 inches plus across. Sense then I have had many leaves of her that did not progate for me. The grower of the show plant said she was hard to progate.Mom loved the plant of Ann also. I was going to give her it April 1 st for her b-day but will wait until it's in full bloom.
Thanks Deb !
Wish Bluebird sold a variegated Russian. I've seen a couple on AVSA Russian web sight !
