Mg your double yellow does look like Monte Carlo. I had some but I only get the occasional return of one or two They have a strong honey scent.

I was just lamenting at how quiet this thread had become this morning and BAM you all post these glorious pic's!

It rained most of the day yesterday but the sun peaked out this afternoon so I was out weeding & planting some
pansies. I found the first tulip was up & almost in bloom. YEAH... spring is really springing here.

Wallaby - I love that Johann Strauss! It almost looks like a species tulip.

Tam it is a species, T kaufmanniana. It turned warm here yesterday 14C, today 15c (59F), it's lovely!!!!!!!!! Sunshine, spring rain in the evening, perfect!

Good ol' Sony DSC V1, there is no digital altering on these, with sunshine it doesn't make any difference, it takes them perfectly.
