I am thinking about putting in a line/allee' of Siberian Pines.
What is their growth rate? I would start with about 18" 2-2's.
I have a 400 foot driveway, and would underplant with azaleas (i think...)

I think I might start em out with some native birches and when the
pines get going, I can cut down the birches for firewood. I had thought
about zelkovas, and also tulip poplars, and possibly Sycamores, but
i like the upright nature of the siberians and the birches. I just would
like to see them in some what of a glory looking stage before I pass
away from old age. thats the rub.
