You can't - here's a link to the FAQ that explains why: http://davesgarden.com/faq/home/#174

Terry,

That FAQ doesn't address the use of folders to help organize the inbox. I can't seem to locate that thread, can you find it?

Thanks Terry, I guess I'll get to sorting out my d-mails. Oh yet another thing to organize... LOL bet this gets done before the others.....Lauri

I create a folder with a name like DELETE and put useless d-mails in it. Then I don't have to look at them.

I created a file called old D-Mail. It works ok. You delete them [old D-Mail] to it.

oh, good idea, thanks!

Lincoln Park, MI(Zone 5a)

I'll bet some people do delete those anyway. There is always a way to do things, if you really want to.

i think not in this case.

tracksinsand is right - since they reside on our system, they're not going anywhere unless Dave zaps 'em.

However, I did modify the FAQs today, to give (hopefully) a better explanation of how dmails work, and how to set up folders, including a "deleted" folder (think of it like throwing a piece of paper in a trashcan that never gets emptied - but never overflows, either. ;o)

ah good question, was wondering same thing, soo fixed as suggested. now if you could market one of those trash cans for the play room, id be muchly appreciative.

I second that trashcan in the playroom idea!
