Does anyone here listen to talk radio? I'm not asking about any political views, wanna make friends here (lol), but do you have a favorite radio program?

I love the local radio shows on the weekend all about gardening!

My brother and sister is are HUGE fans- my sister begged for his book for Christmas...not last Christmas, the one before. And she's constantly talks about duct taping her head.

Strange girl. ; )

I live too far out in the middle of nowhere to hear it. I've pretty much given up on getting good radio signals.

I am really a talk radio fan. However I don't like Glen Beck. It's not his view on things I think I just don't like his tone of voice. I do like Dave Ramsey http://www.daveramsey.com/ and also Neal Boortz.
I don't listen as much now as I used to. In my earlier days I used to listen to talk radio out of St.Louis everynight after I went to bed. Had one of those ear things so as not to disturb my wife. I can't remember the announcer but he died several years ago. I remember every hour an announcer would come on and say it is 10 o'clock, Do you know where your children are? Or what ever hour it was. I broke the habit of radio at night. Usually now I catch Mike and Mike in the morning, espn readio. They are really good if you are into any sport.

George, Haven't heard your faves. LOL on your dialogue though. I know there is one waaaaay out there show at like midnight called "Coast to Coast." Sometimes I think the host (while a possible believer of unusual things) seems much more "intelligent" than the callers? I don't know but if I'm working real late that's a fun show to catch!

Cjo, yeah Glenn cracks me up. Except I'm really not as interested in politics (a taboo subject here I know, so be careful) but he says he hates to talk about it too, so I appreciate the regular callers and the stories about his life. I bought his book at Christmas for my husband, he loved it too! I am still reading it.

I like Dave Ramsey... and I like to listen to Art Bell in the middle of the night on the weekends, when I can stay awake!! His program is always interesting and ...different!

We used to have a great guy on the radio in San Antonio called Jeff Bolton....I thought his show was soo great. They actually cut him this year...he was sorta like Glenn but since he was local he was really interested in the local community, kept me "up to date." When I inquired of the station they said they thought it best with the new line-up. Yeah, and the station won't pay for all 3 hours of Glenn either...only the second 2?! I mean, he's the 3 most listened to show in the United States (3rd to Howard Stern...ugh, and El Rushbo).

Yeah, the local station added 2 brothers and they actually run a segment on their show about "guess what's in my pocket?" And they actually get callers to call in??? At least it's during the dinner hour (think starts at 6) so I guess they don't have a great slot.

Has anyone tried the satellite radio? They have some great shows I am sure. Wish I could hear one that will be on by Oprah (think in April). She said it will be a broadcast of her telephone calls to her best friend Gail and they talk every night. That'd be interesting....bit more of her show I guess....But I just have a problem paying for radio. LOL!

Who'da thought we'd buy water in a bottle though....Changing time....
