Abbreviations

South West, LA(Zone 9a)

With all the Newbies here now there seems to be alot of questions about our silly abbreviations. I came acrost a thread a while back that explained almost all of them. Does anyone know where it is? I also think it would be a good idea to make it a sticky in the welcome forum. I don't mind helping poeple out but a list would be nice cause sometimes I have to ask.
Thanks

I second that. I've been a member for a couple of years now and I've figured out some of the abbreviations, but it's embarrassing to keep asking all the time. One place where you can go to refer to them would be wonderful. The "Welcome" forum would be a great place for it.

Well, I looked at all of the various places where abbreviations were discussed and tried to put everything together in one place. Here's what I came up with. I didn't do the emoticons, just the acronyms, and I think I removed all the ones which referred to profanity. If I missed something, please let me know and I'll edit this. Hope this helps. Much thanks to CoCo and others for all the work they did previously!
