Rocky Mountain regional forum?

Central, UT(Zone 5b)

Seeing as how there are regional forums for just about every other part of the country I thought I might put in a request for our little section. I noticed there aren't many subscribers from our area and perhaps this is why. We are colder than the southwest and drier than the uppermidwest and have particular issues with temperature fluctuations later in the season due to higher elevations.

I've been wondering about a Chinook Gardening Forum - would that be about the same as a Rocky Mtn. Forum?

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

Yeah Rocky Mountains Rock. I want to have a forum too. We here in Kalispell can only cross over to Canada and relate.
Hey fancyvan how is the cold front up there today. My wife says -16F in Kalispell tonight. Not good.
Also it would be nice to exchange wild flower info. IE what is blooming today in the meadow.

I agree Soferdig. Your climate and mine is very similiar I think. Thie morning when I got up about 5:30, it was 11.7 degrees with north wind, by daylight it was 9.6 not considering the even stronger n. wind. It. was colder in early Dec. but no wind.
