Good Night,
Kelly

I will *not* let the DH read your post OZ. That would be very dangerous. ;) I might be single again. LOL

Pleasureville, KY(Zone 6a)

Maria, that meal sounds so good, If you made up the recipe, you are a genius.

Sarv, glad you went without partner. Make some more friends there, and they can be partners while you are forced to be alone. I hate it when the utility companies do that to the trees. We had a very scenic drive about 20 miles away completely destroyed last year. Now the road has half trees. What a mess. We called phone & power companies several years ago to ask about cutting down 2 large maples, they told us go ahead and cut them, and if they fall on the lines, we will fix them.!! Those shooting sound scary. Why is the cat in pain?

GG, don't worry about customer left alone, just give her a good magazine. LOL.

Oz, showed that pic to DH and he wants to know where you live. Read him the post about dock being at the end of your yard, he is on his way, doesn't matter that he doesn't know where you live HE WILL FIND YOU!! LOL.

Meezer, you probably got some of my sleep too. Had trouble going to sleep, LOL, those men can't take the girlie exercises can they? Sami is so cute, I think he is innocent of any michief, it's those other cats.

Darius, 4 weeks to put up a sign. I bet if you start making a couple of calls every day, they will put in the culvert just to get rid of you. !!

Fc, yeah, allergies all better. I've never caught a fish over 5 pounds, and to me that was a whopper.

kittymom, since you have been absent from the bed so long, they thought that it was all theirs. How rude of you to interrupt their schedule. Hope every day is getting better for you.

Vann, that was me who lost the long post last night. Makes me furious when that happens. Sounds like you have kept busy with the shopping for computers. Glad you found something you liked.

Babs, Bless your mum. I hope that you give her a big hug from all of us, frequently. Please keep telling us about her antics. They are so funny.

Nancy, I welcomed you last night, in the lost post. I also offered some flower seeds to help you fill up your barren yard. I am serious, if you need anything let me know.

dmc, locked out, I have done that also. Can't describe that feeling in the split second when you realize that you have no key, and the door slams.

susieq, sorry you had a bad spell at work today. We are also having a prediction of snow tonight and tomorrow.

mg,Thanks for that info on the sun/moon position. I didn't know that.

Casey, court sounds horrible. I loved you saying PITA was growling at the fish, pretty good indication that it is feeding time.!!

Mary, loved your pics. It is such pretty country. We don't have vistas like that in Ky. I recognized the horse ears, without your explanation. So funny.

Wonder what has happened to Bal, Ernie, Hap, haven't heard from them in awhile. Glad Patischel, is checking in from time to time. Just like family, I miss those who don't come daily. Waving at you, hello all.

Well, this was grocery/errand day. Did pretty well, left here about 8:30, and was home by 12:30. That was hitting 6 different places. I didn't stop at Goodwill today, I usually do. DH got in from the hospital just about the time I got home. He helped carry in everything, and help put groceries away. He is worn completely out. He has spent about 50 hours at the hospital this week, and is going again tomorrow. DMIL is not doing well. I think that this has gone on so long that she is sort of giving up. She is having panic attacks about her breathing. They are calling in a lung specialist tomorrow, and they will try to find out what is causing all the fluid build up. I really had high hopes when she came through the surgery, but I think the post op problems are beginning to be too much for her to fight. You all keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Tomorrow is dedicated to bill paying, sending in rebates for new cell phones, packaging and sending trades, and working on taxes, for us, for DS and his girlfriend and DMIL. Does anybody feel sorry for me? I am not anticipating it in the least. So when the going gets tough tomorrow, I will take a break and come here and chat. Look for me. Have the goodies set out so that I will not faint from overwork and exhaustion.!!

Good night all, going to check out some other forums before calling it a night.

I live on Lake of the Ozarks Defoe. I enjoy it but it is a resort area and it can be a real dangerous lake on the weekends in the summer

Archer/Bronson, FL(Zone 8b)

Gayle, That's very interesting. Maybe I'll check the moon rise and set charts to avoid staying up all night for a vigil.

Casey, To look at Monkey Grass, you think Liriope. I don't believe it's the same thing. Monkey Grass gets little black berry things as blooms, whereas liriope does not. Liriope also has a bit of a fleshier blade/leaf on it.

We live on a limerock (dirt) road way back off the paved ones. No one is paying a lot of attention on maintenance of the roads. I doubt that the county will be requiring us to let them put in a culvert pipe. They haven't been interested in how our driveway is made at all, only the position of it relative to the neighbors property. So as with all else, we'll take care of this ourselves. I think a culvert pipe will help to stablize the earth under the weight of the cars and allow drainage to avoid standing water by our driveway entrance. We try to keep low key and just do our thing here.

Oz, sometimes in the summer DH goes fishing 3 and 4 times a day. All in farm ponds. We have a small lake near here, he can have the boat in the water 15 minutes after leaving home. But he sure would enjoy that fishing.
Thanks for your posts.

Vegas,NV Filbert, SC(Zone 7b)

Defoe, if you go back a couple days ago you can see a picture of PITA growling at his fish. We got the fish tank and PITA at the same time and his favorite sleeping place is on top because the light is warm. When he sits in front the fish all come to the glass thinking its dinner time, PITA will start to growl because he thinks they are coming to him for his dinner. It is so funny to watch.

Thanks Molly, so its similar or in the same family as Mondo grass? That is a plant not even my best friend can kill, bless her heart. She tries so hard though.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful night see ya all tomorrow

Casey

Edited to say that if its the same recipe I may be relocating to Maria's house instead of South Carolina.
