That's a wonderful write up Dave, so proud of you and all us members that keep this site so enticing.

I keep hoping that our local newspaper, Garden Section, will say something about DG one of these days. I emailed her a few months ago about one of her articles and mentioned that I belonged to DG and all that it had to offer. I still haven't seen any mention of it yet. :-(

Congratulations to Dave, all of the admins, and the entire DG community! I think it takes both the hard work of Dave and his team and the knowledge and input of the DG community to create a place so special.

woodspirit, thanks - every mention DG can get helps us reach more people ;o)

Dave, I caught that write-up, too (I've got Google set to send me any mentions of DG, GWD and PlantFiles that are in the news.)

Very nice - did they contact you first, or was this one of those "out of the blue" writeups?

I found it via a Google news alert, too. :)

They did not contact me - it was "out of the blue". I was especially surprised that the information in the article was so up to date, and they covered the "spirit" of DG fairly well.

I think I remember talking to someone from the Boston Globe last year, but my memory could be misremembering.

Congratulations on the article, Dave.

BTW, I am glad to know that I am not the only person whose memory misremembers. Does yours disremember also?

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Doesn't it give you a great feeling, Dave, Terry, and all of admin, to read an article like that. Well deserved.
