Garden tour forum

Would it be possible to have a forum informing gardeners of their favorite places to shop in their area, for plants and gardening goodies. Also for gardens, private and otherwise, that would be worthwhile to take a trip to visit....Must see gardens. There are alot of great places out there of favorite places to buy plants (and stuff), beautifull gardens to see and tour but we don't know about them. I think this would be a great forum for people to tell other gardeners about the places, in their area, that they love to shop in and gardens that are fabulous to visit.

I'm on the California regional forum and I've seen a lot of good discussion there for best area nurseries, etc. I think there's a midwestern forum where you can probably find that info for your area (or if it's not there, start a thread and I'm sure people will jump in with suggestions). There's also a forum called Public Gardens where you can talk about public gardens that people can tour/visit, and for private gardens that offer occasional tours I think the regional forums would be good places to find that info.

There is a forum called Garden Tours. A lot of us use them for our own tours, but there are also some public garden listed, also. We link to the diary feature in Journals, and use the forum for discussion and questions.
