World forum

Lewisville, MN(Zone 4a)

How about a world forum. Where anybody on DG can participate.
Daves is not quite the site it was before all the regional forums popped up.
regionals have more or less turned into gossip forums.
Just like the old party line telephones in the fifties.

LOL Bernie, I think that's kind of funny :)

Alas, there's never a Colorado forum for me, and I can never figure out if we're midwest or southwest :) I'll have to stick to my topical forums. I don't feel worldly enough for a World forum haha :)

Midwest forum goes from Alaska to Florida & Mexico to Artic circle. It may include a foreign country too.
I think the various plant forums a great, as everybody has different tastes in flowers & gardenning. Also if you desire onformation on some plant group, it is easy to find.

Well, for global gabbing, there's always:

Garden Talk
General Discussion
Dave's Garden
Identification
Parking Lot
Jokes & Chat

And a few others I'm not thinking of at the moment - all of them seem to attract a good cross-section of DG'ers from all around the world ;o)

I can't speak to the gossip (or lack thereof) in the regional forums, since I don't live in any of the regions with a forum, but with or without them, DG is different (a whole lot bigger) than it was when I joined five years ago (it just hit me that yesterday was my fifth year "anniversary".)

I'd even hazard a guess we're significantly bigger (in terms of subscribers as well as members) than we were just a year ago.

(Pssst!....HAPPY DG ANNIVERSARY, TERRY!!!)

( I think one of us must be getting older. :>)

And now back to our regularly scheduled program.... τΏτ

Thanks for the happy anniversary note ;o)

Older? Me??? Sigh - yeah.....a quick glance in any mirror with decent lighting tells me I have more gray hairs than brown these days. (I attribute them to my children: 40% to my 20 year old son, 40% to my 17 year old son, and 20% to my preteen daughter. However, I'm confident she'll pick up the slack, and I'll be completely gray by the time she gets through HER teenage years *grin*)

LOL @ all of you! This is one of those times I am glad I heavily highlight my hair and can just sneak into pure white hair like my great grandma if I am lucky. By the time I get six daughters through the teen age years, I'll be lucky if I can form complete sentences!
