Cine,

Just cleaned some cherokee rose hips. I cut a little off the top of them and let them dry for 2 weeks. Then I rolled them between two fingers to loosen, I then pried them out with a very small screwdriver (like the ones used for glasses). They came out very easily and I didn't get pricked by all that hair in them. Hope this helps.

Mike; that's weird, my plum tree was struck by lighting last Friday, it wasn't even raining at the time, although it started to rain about a half hour later.

Ok you guys!! I haven't heard where either pkg is in a while. Has anyone seen either pkg? I'm kinda worried about pkg 1. Haven't heard from DL Weisel if she's mailed it or not. Someone let me know if you've seen or heard from it!! Like a lost little child out on it's on....sad and lonely.....maybe even crying......

I received package #1 today..Friday August 31 ..and I will get it in the mail Tuesday since there is no mail on Monday.

could we start a list of "I got my packet?" For example, your list shows I mailed out my packet on 8-15. And of course, by now I forget who I sent it to. Did they get it, did they like it? I know I liked mine. I took the ornamental onions (there was a ? on the packet) and the poppy seeds.

sure...the package next goes to Jerrie Salter in Collinsville,Texas...it was just grrreeeaaaat! I am still looking so I do not know what I am keeping yet..but I will let you know when I do
