Nice.
That is what I know as the third floor of the fine arts building where I take college. Those crazy feinds who sit in front of computers all day. How do they enjoy themselves in rooms lacking rocks and chisles?
different strokes?.....................lol
It's so funny seeing what I know as a seasonal Christmas plant growing in your garden!!!
anita..you're right...i'm sure it must seem strange when one first comes to florida or other over wintering places...after a while...one gets used to it...
WOW Ali! Love your new camera! It's great to see shots of your garden both indoors and out!
I have that euphorbia (millii?) but mine isn't blooming. I might have to talk Bob out of that Kalanchoe! (or at least it looks like that? third photo up)
laurie..got hundreds....will load you down when you come...bob
I think they are called 'mother of millions' aren't they? I appreciate it!!!
Yes Florida is fun year long blooms ! My camera really takes beautifl pictures :)) Thank you ! Thank you !
Nice, Bob, just fancy.
I was tickled to death when I found not only that my old Zantedeschia that I forced indoors managed to bloom for me this winter, (usually forcing did not result in flowers because of resting requirement minimums.) but that very old seeds from it years ago were good, and sprouted!!! Like AVs, they are my newest babies to nurture.
Yeehaw!
Kenton...all kinds of serendipties abound if one has an adventureous mind , dirty fingers, and a gambling spirit on the unknown..
Anymore mushroom eating lately Jill !
Yes! As soon as I get a crack at the other computer, I'll post another photo! I managed to time the next harvest for Kimberly (Gardenwife) & Howie's visit. Harvested 10 oz this time! We ate shiitakes last night with summer marinara (yellow squash, zucchini, tomatoes, from my freezer) and gnocchi. Yummmmmy!
critter-growing your own mushrooms-I think that's pretty neat.
Fresh mushrooms mmmm.
Jill I'm not a mushroom eater but I never seen any plant so cool ! Thamls for sharing. Very interesting :))
I though of you last night Critter as I cut up these two HUGE portobello mushies in my marinara sauce!
I also like to drizzle olive oil and a wee bit of balsamic vinegar on them upside down and put them on the BBQ! Mm Mm good! (my vegetarian sub for a burger!)
