Open call for new voting booth questions

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

The queue of new voting booth questions is running a little low, as are my creative juices.

I can always go back through three years of past polls and pull up questions, change 'em around a bit and re-post them, but I think it's a lot nicer to get an infusion of fresh ideas from others from time to time.

Generally speaking, I'm looking for questions (and your ideas for responses) that:

a) are phrased as yes/no or multiple choice questions (maximum of ten choices for responses); and
b) are related to general home and/or garden subjects (including pets, family, wildlife, and of course any aspect of indoor or outdoor gardening); or
c) are designed to elicit feedback from the DG community about the features we offer.

We're always looking for botany quiz questions, too - so if you have an idea for a brain-teasing botanical question, that would be great (ideas for the responses are appreciated most of all!)

Most important: we won't want to spoil the surprise by discussing your ideas here, so don't post your suggestions here. Instead, send me a d-mail, or use the "Contact Us" link: http://davesgarden.com/helpdesk/forums/

Regardless of whether you send it to the main helpdesk or my personal inbox, please use the title "Poll booth idea" so I can keep track of them.

You're welcome to send your ideas anytime inspiration strikes, but those who submit ideas during the next two weeks will be acknowledged along with a big 'thank-you' here on February 1, so I can give credit where it's due ;o)

Bumping this up for those who might have missed it before - anyone else want to make a few suggestions while I'm queuing up future polls this week?

Hmmm....still thinking here. I think slow, ya know!

Hope I can help out somehow.

Everytime I try to think of a good question I come up blank. I bet as soon as you don't need them, I'll start thinking of some,,,LOL

Terry: sent you a botanical quiz idea. I'll participate at whatever level you think might be useful.

I am so sorry - with our search engine being on the fritz, I had a hard time locating all the threads and notes that were sent, and I was afraid I would accidentally leave somone out. I think I've got them all (but if I miss a name, please send me a note so I can add it!!!)

At any rate, a big thank you is overdue to the following members who came up with many creative and clever new poll booth topics, which you'll see in the weeks and months ahead:

Given that we put forth 52 different questions a year, suggestions and ideas are ALWAYS welcome! Even if you didn't get inspired before the (arbitrary) deadline, please send me your ideas at any time - you can send them to the helpdesk or my dmail inbox. (Remember, don't post them on the forum, so you won't spoil the surprise for others ;o)

edited to add PudgyMudpies, who I failed to mention when I posted the names (so sorry!!!)
