What does "Add this forum.........

to your favorites mean? I have clicked on it but then what happens? I have not seen a "favorites" tab and have not found a way to just access those.
Hope this doesn't sound too grinchy but I joined DG because GW had become too unwieldy for me to follow. I know Dave will straighten everything out but it sure would help if we had a feature where we could follow our favorites without wading through all the forums we are not interested in.

When you click on it , It should show up on your home page. That way you get the forums that you habitually read with having to wade through the list.

Farmerdill summed it up perfectly. You can (very easily) add or take away forums from your "favorites" list that appears on your "Home" tab. Anytime you want to see all the forums, you can go to the "Garden Talk" and/or "Home Talk" tab to navigate the entire list.

That is what I assumed would happen but there is nothing on my home page (that I can find) and I have clicked on at least a half dozen forums.

So, am I the only dense one here?

Click on the logo at the top of this page...this will take you 'home' too. Your member page is different than the home page.

Anywhere you see the morning glory logo, it should be a clickable link to 'home'

Ardesia, I logged in under your username to see exactly what you're seeing. And you're right - your home page says you're watching 0 forums, so it presents 160-some forums on that page. I tried adding the DG forum to your list of favorites, and it didn't work.

That sounds like a problem for Dave to take a look at. I know he's been busy looking for the underlying problems relating to the site's timeouts, slowdowns (which resulted in multiple postings within many threads), but when he comes up for air, I'll make sure he sees this thread.

Is anyone else experiencing this same problem? If you have tried to add forums to your "favorites" list, are they showing up on your "Home" page? If not, post here.

Thanks Dave, what a sweetie you are.

I've spent a lot of time trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Upgrades are good and appreciated, but it would have been good to give us instructions at the same time. Not all of us are computer geeks, no matter how hard we try. I'm going now to check my home page and see what I can find. I was showing 0 forums also and getting the entire list.

My home page is still showing 0 forums and listing the whole batch. HELP, Dave.

1gardengram, next time you are in a forum, try adding it to your watch list (the link is on the top right).
