HELP!

ok, just had to open up a third browser, as it is taking so long for my posts to send. and i keep refeshing the screen, and only seeing the last post as by cottonpicker in the tomatoes forum at 10:36AM [is the beginning to sound like a solution to CLUE?]

so what is happening that stuff isn't showing up?

what makes me think this thread will show up?

i can't see my DG, H_E_LLLLLLL_P!

I'm having multiple posts too! Looks like several other folks are as well. VERY slow today maybe DG is resting- after all it is a day of rest- LOL!

mine are still taking too long... i even edited one while it was sending LOL.

guess Dave needs a rest day too!

hard as it is to leave, i will do that. maybe there is just too much traffic on DG right now... that extra server may not be up yet!

calling all volunteers, log ofo dg [or refrain from posting], so others can post more easily and quickly...

I have my third browser window open too, just to come here and type this, the other 2 windows are still hung up trying to post in other threads. One has been trying for 26 minutes and the other for 22 minutes.

Oh sure! They both just went thru, one timed 1:04 PM and the other at 1:06 PM. Well, as I type this it is 1:32 PM, let's see how long it takes to go thru.

I think eweed on the dahlia forum takes the cake: the same post repeated 19 times in 6 minutes. Very slow page loading and even slower posting for me as well this a.m.

It is very rare to have technical problems here, but I hope this one gets resolved quickly. Dave's is too good to be missed..

I noticed another post like this one, but I haven't had a problem all day? Are you folks dial up or cable?

I'm on dsl with IE.

I've been having the same trouble... and I'm on Comcast cable internet. I think that it's just taking forever for Dave's server to respond. Thus, if you click the "send" button 10 times in the interim, it posts it 10 times when the server finally responds. I'm sure it won't persist, Dave'll resolve it in no time! :)

Sorry guys - I've dropped a note to Dave, but as you know, the site is experiencing some delays, timeouts, and general weirdness. Please bear with us (and try to avoid hitting "submit" more than once until you're sure it didn't go through the first time!)

Yes - have been having the same problem here all day as well, although it seems to have eased up a bit now.

Mostly read "watch" threads not disappearing/refreshing & posts taking from 15-20 minutes to go thru, if at all. Unfortunately, after 20 minutes I'd cancel the post only to find later that it did go thru. This is probably what's happening with the folks who've been ending up with multitudes of identical posts. You think it's not going thru - understandably after 20 minutes - & exit the forum, re-enter, & post again. Unfortunately, all the posts do eventually go thru.

Well how weird: I swear there were 19 identical posts at that link by eweed and now it's been reduced to just two- (the ones with the photo.) Wish weight loss were that easy!

If all of you with high speed internet connections are having so many problems, I wonder why I'm not having them with dial up? You would think that I wouldn't even be able to get on here.

A couple days ago I couldn't upoad a photo to plantfiles, it always timed out. But today I've been zipping right along. I was surprised to see that so many are having troubles today.

I've not had a problem navigating around to read, but I think this is the first time I've tried to post in several hours. We'll see how long it takes.

Okay, it took a long time to post, acted like it was stalled, so I did the red x to get out and stop it, but the post still showed up later. Don't know if that means anything, but it may help Dave try to figure out why there's so many multiple posts.

Yep its been off and on all day...but I'm sure Dave is trying to correct the problem.

It's still happening to me today & it's really annoying. I posted something, left it to do some chores, came back 25 minutes later & the post was still sitting there. I'm doubtful this one will get thru, but if it does, is someone doing something about this problem?

I posted something and let it grind for a long time. Stopped it and checked and nothing was there, so then I worded it again and reposted. When the second one was finally accepted I saw that the first one had also showed up?!?
