Odd thread watch occurence

After I've read my 'watched thread' updates I click on the DG at the bottom of the screen
and am returned to Home, with the read thread erased. Today the list of watched threads
in the heading doesn't erase. Happens on both Fire Fox and Safari. How-come ?

Same thing has been happening to me all day. In addition, posts have been taking 15-20 minutes to go thru. I've rebooted my computer several times, but it's made no difference.

Must be a DG glitch, because I've had no problems with other websites/forums I belong to.

Oh my Lord - now look what's happening!!! Four posts & I cancelled & resubmitted my post after 20 minutes had passed & it still hadn't gone thru. I've noticed many many triple posts lately on other forums. There is definitely some glitch going on here.

Perhaps Dave will shed some light tomorrow. I'm sure he takes today off, which he well deserves.

Well, Anita, from the looks of things on other threads here, you're just lucky - lol!!

The problems have been sporadic. Sorry, guys! I know it's painful when things don't work as they ought to - but rest assured Dave will have things straightened up soon!

I have found that if it seems to be taking a long time to accept a post, then a message comes up saying "website not responding", I have to hit the Home tab to get totally out of the thread, then when I go back in (right away) I see that my post actually was accepted.

Previous to this discovery, I assumed it didn't go and clicked "send" again. Maybe that's why the multiple posts.

It seems fine this morning, thank goodness and thank Dave.
