"Dirt Cheap" was (IMHO) a very clever name penned by Dave's wife Trish when we petitioned him (errrr, ganged up on him) with the idea for the forum. It tied in perfectly with the gardening theme, even though it made Dave groan.

When we shuffled some forums to the new "Home Talk" tab, it made sense to give it a more descriptive (if less creative) name - hence it's now just "Frugal Living" ;o)

Yes, "frugal living" sounds so very 'cleaned-up' from "Dirt Cheap"! LOL

I suppose Dave is getting ready for the IPO and has to do 'house cleaning' in every nook and cranny!

(Sounds more like discussion of how to use leftovers rather than the best dumpsters to dive in to rescue orphaned plants! IMHO LOL )
