I'm opening a craft booth in an antique and craft mall here in Seymour. It is in The Crossroads Antique store in an outlet mall by the interstate called" The Shoppes at Seymour". I intend to try to sell some painted slates, Cornhusk dolls, and angels. I thought of just calling it " Lou's Art, Angels and Etc," Not very creative. Any suggestions? Thanks, Lou
Bad seed's farm naming is done. Now help me.
How about, ( Angels for You ) The name starts with an A which puts you at the top of any alphabetical listing, such as yellow pages, or other directories, and it also personalizes it to the customer, which as everyone knows can be flattering.
Also if you keep it short, any signs you might have made, will not be as expensive.
I hope that helps.
Josephine.
Lou's Country Corner, Lou's Loot, Lou's Little Lovelies, Lou's Stuff, Lookielou, Lou's Wing-ed Wonders, Little Slice of Heaven, From Lou to You, Lue'd Art (forget that one)!
Slogans like 'Lose your blues at Lou's', 'You can't lose at Lou's'.
I wouldn't be too product specific in your business name, in case you decide to create or sell something different as time goes by.
Since Badseed didn't use it, how about Earth Angel's? Skip to my Lou's?

Ok, it may be kinda goofy, but I'm saying it anyway:

Stone's throw Originals
Welcome to trauma Lou! LOL Ain't so easy when it is for you, huh? I thought I would know the right one when I heard it too. There were several I really loved and ended up ruling out for one reason or another. When I stumbled across Pisces that led to Gemini, I knew it was right. I can't say why or how, it just is.
Ones I loved:
Earth Angels (had the logo for that one in my head!)
Bloomers on the Line (had the logo for that one in my head!)
Petal Pushers (we are addicts, right?)
It was hard! You have my best wishes!
I have looked up several for you but they are taken.
If you could start with "Angel Slate" or something similar, that is wide open.
Lou's Lovelies
still thinking...

I like Seymour Angels. It has a nice ring to it and a clever play on words!
Lou--
I love 'Skip to my Lou's', too. (-:
That won't limit you to Angel merchandise if you find other things to feature and the name is sure to stick in everyone's brain...
mmm...you could sell all kinds of things, let's see--jams and jellies and honey, dried flowers, hand made pottery and stained glass from the area... along with your wonderful slate signs...
Sounds like a fun project. Please keep us posted. t.
How about See More Angels. :)

Hand Maid - Get it?
Where is Seymour? I live near NW Indiana. Is it anywhere near Nashville? If it's like that, the actual name won't matter as much as the window displays. I don't remember any of the names, just some of the shops that stood out for that reason. Sounds like great fun. Good luck! Maybe I'll come visit you this summer.
How about...

Lou's Place

Seymour is about 35 miles from Nashville In. We are half way between Louisville Ky and Indianapolis on I-65. The space is just a booth inside a antique mall. No window space. I'm opening without a name and I noticed that most of the booths do not have a name. However, I still want to name my little space. My DH thinks I've gone off on a silly lark by doing this and he thinks Lou's Lark should be the name. I have started setting up some of my things and the Lady who manages the mall said I should call it "Nature's Nook" since everything I made had to do with flowers, gourds, birds and etc. I have been real busy this month making some inventory and once I get it open, I plan to paint a large slate with the name on it. I still can't decide. Lou
I like Lou's Lark the best, IMHO that has the most personality and whimsy. See, you knew you kept DH around for some reason. ;-)
