Hi All,
Here's the Daily continued from http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/565742
Hope everyone has a Great day.

Morning all, have been lurking and reading. I am now wondering where our Maria is haven't seen her post in a while. Hope she is just busy with Samson and family.
Prayers continue for those who may be ill or have ailing parents and friends. I keep our church's prayer chain (email) and it is surprising how it goes in streaks, will go a week with no requests then a bunch in one day. I consider it a privilege to be able to do this. Roadrunner helps!!
Here is hoping everyone who needs to get healthier gets the strength they need. Carol, the odd one, I am in your boat except I know why I don't lose, I do eat all those things. But I have had success in the past with cutting carbs and that does wonders for blood sugar levels when you are a type II diabetic. Ozark... I find it hard to start hating something that has been my best friend for years but it is an interesting way to look at it.
D'cat, NO, don't shorten you posts I look forward to them.
Sewing machine.....mine is a 1975 plastic Singer that seems to do what I need when I can remember to thread it properly. Grew up making my own clothes in high school and even made my wedding gown. Back then one yard of material made a new skirt!!!! Not much of a skirt but minis were in and I could make a new one in an evening with a vest to match!! TIME.. I must have had more of it then.
M5 I am so excited for your new furbaby, but am worried that I will get the wants and not be able to control them. lol
Hello to all I have not spoken to, must get moving am taking cousin to doctors this morning and must be there by 8 am so must leave in 45 minutes and don't even have son's lunch packed.

Morning all. First of all, let me say that I hate mornings. Second, sorry I haven't been around, I just haven't felt like being on the computer as much the past few days. If I sit here too long my shoulder gets to hurting. Went to my first therapy session yesterday, they are doing strengthening exercises and some range of motion. Had the MRI done Friday, hope to get the X Rays done today. I see the therapist today, the doctor tomorrow and the therapist again Friday. This afternoon I have to take Sarah to the doctor for a physical, she hasn't had one since 03..... but she sees the Easter Seals doctor every 6 months. I am kind of concerned about her..... her face is all puffy, swollen looking, she just doesn't look "right". I really really hope that it has nothing to do with ACM, but I'm afraid it does.
ACM, for those of you who don't know me well is a condition in which the skull is shaped wrong and is basically too small for the brain. In some families it seems to have a hereditary link, in others it doesn't. We definitely have a hereditary history. My mom has the symptoms, which include severe headaches, ringing in the ears, some sensory issues... but she won't go have the MRI done to see if it can be confirmed. I have what is considered ACM 0, which has just recently been recognized as a valid type. Mine is basically that the spinal fluid is blocked to a small degree, and doesn't flow properly. My daughters Sarah and Tori have ACM 1, which is where a part of the brain called the cerebellar tonsils (which are located on the back side on the underneath of your brain) extend out of the skull and down into the spinal column. Sarah's isn't bad enough to need surgery yet, but the puffiness in her face could mean the blockage of spinal fluid is getting worse. I'm going to ask her doctor today for another MRI, and if she won't order it, we'll go see the neurosurgeon again. Tori's ACM was bad enough to need surgery. Her cerebellar tonsils extended almost 18 centimeters out of her skull into her spinal canal. In September 2004, she had surgery, there are technical terms, but basically they took part of her C1 vertebrae, made the opening in her skull the spinal cord comes through bigger, and put a patch in her dura (which is the covering over the brain). She had some major complications after surgery, she developed bacterial meningitis, and then a stomach perforation. We spent 30 out of 35 days in the hospital. :(( It was not a good time for us. I have to call her neurosurgeon this week, I have been putting it off, wanted to get the holidays out of the way first, but some of her pre-surgery symptoms are returning. There is like a 10 percent chance the bone will grow back in children, so I'm wondering if that might have happened in her case. She will be scheduled for another MRI soon I'm sure. My sons both show symptoms of ACM, so they both need to have MRI's scheduled so that we can find out for sure, and decide what we are going to do about it. Oh, for those of you who want to know, ACM stands for Arnold Chiari Malformation. It is seen alot in children with spina bifida, they usually have type 2.
Ok, enough of that. I have to get the little ones up for school. Know that I do read the posts, just can't always respond. Those of you who are starting diets, good luck, I'm rooting for you. I've gone from a size 1 to a size 8-10 over the past couple years, so maybe this will motivate me to get moving LOL
For those that are ill, or have ailing friends and family, you are all in my prayers.
Everyone else, well, hello :)
Got fresh baked blueberry muffins and a fresh pot of coffee here
Hugs to all,
Janis
I want to thank all of you for the prayers that you sent my dad.....they worked. When I went back on Friday, he was much better. He knew I was his daughter, but did not know my name. That's sure a lot better than being in outer space as he was. Thanks again.
Well I'm home and into the mess. Just can't seem to get caught up. Not too much energy, I admit and I get even further behind when I read all of what you all have been doing. Can't keep up with you gals, for sure. I think I need someone to hit ME with the 2 x 4 and get me going.
I think we have a good start for the new year....everyone seems in good spirits....that's wonderful.
I have been lurking, but just not feeling up to posting. It's very stressful to go back to another life.
See ya all later. I have some Hazelnut coffee all made, help yourself.
Hap
Hey GG - thanks for starting the 'daily'. I'd volunteer to help, but am completely computer stupid. Is it hard to start the dailys?? And how is the diet going??? I did fantastic all day and went out for dinner and got a salad, but hopped on the scale and it isn't down an ounze!! I've been dieting for three days!! For Pete's sakes - I need a litle encouragement!! I NEED the scales to keep me honest. If I see I am up, I REALLY watch it. Some people don't need it, but I am one that does.
I need to hit the road to get to my cleaning job, but will check back here later! Take care all! And there is NO life without DG>>>
Good Morning,
Jody,
What a little sweetheart,,,,he's adorable,,,,,and Suzzie is being such a good girl for letting him snuggle up to her,,,although the look on her face seems like she's being a little tolerant,,,,'cause the little guy doesn't know the rules yet,,,,LOL
Joy,
I was wondering the same thing yesterday,,,thought maybe she was out and about and would check in later,,,but she never did,,,hope we hear from her today. Interesting how the prayer chain goes in streaks. Yep,,,food = friend,,,Same here,,,LOL.
Janis,
Hope that shoulder starts getting better with the therapy. The ACM sounds terrible,,,this is the first I have ever heard of it. Have heard of Spina Bifida, but not ACM. How old are your kids? What kind of long term prognosis is there? How long since have you been diagnosed? Forgive all my questions, I'm just an information junkie. When I hear of something I haven't before I am interested to find out about it. I'll pass on the muffin today,,,but it sure sounds good. Thanks anyway,,,,LOL
Hap,
Glad to hear your Dad was somewhat better,,,that's encouraging. O.K.,,,,get yourself prepared,,,here comes the 2x4,,,,,*whack*,,,sorry but you asked for it,,,,LOL Feel any more motivation????
sarv,
You're welcome,,,no problem,,,no, not hard at all. You just start the new one in the Parking Lot, like you would any other thread, then copy the links back and forth. I use 2 browser windows when I do it so I don't have to go back and edit. I start the new one first, and paste the link from the previous day in there, preview it to make sure the link works, then send it, copy the link to the new daily and paste that into the current daily,,,hope this makes sense,,,LOL You have to wait more than 3 days,,,LOL. Good for you getting a salad and being so good on the diet for 3 days,,,wonderful. The scale will show it soon.
I am dreading getting on that scale this morning,,,If I had a talking one like Elaine, I KNOW it would tell me it can only weigh one person at a time,,,LOL,,,well, off to depress myself and see what it says. grrrrr
I didn't go to the grocery store last night like I was planning so will have to do that today,,,,Will go after I have a nice salad for lunch,,,,,that way I'll be full,,,,,not that that's ever stopped me before,,,but at least it will help,,,LOL
Well, better get going,,,hope everyone has a great day.
Kelly
Kelly,
The answer to your question is ziltch, zippo, narda or nothing! Other than the 4 I lost last week that is. If its a plateau its a 2 year one!! I was gaining at a steady 2lbs a week up until then, managed to shed about 28 lbs 2 years ago and now I'm static, but fat!!
Its a genetic thing I think - mother, grandmothers - both of them and 3 out of 4 Great-grandmothers were "Large Ladies" though not always vertically! LOL So I guess I'm programmed for it but I'm not happy about it, it isn't comfortable to be lugging so much extra everywhere. Enough moaning!!
Woofens sorry to hear that about your family problems, it doesn't sound like much fun. My thoughts are with you.
I could and will start the new thread if it isn't there when I sign off, but I might not be around every evening, so it will be a hit and miss thing. Able and willing, just not reliable - thats me!!
Where is Maria? Hope all is OK.
(((hugs))) all.
Carol
The Odd One
oooo, okus,,,,
that is frustrating to say the least! Some of us are just genetically programmed not to be thin! I'm one of those too. But I still keep trying,,,my thing is I have so much to lose, I get tired of living on diets and then splurge,,,grrrrrr But, back to it.
I'm going to start by making sure I drink at least 48 ounces of water every day then go from there - baby steps!
Jody
Hi all
Okay, 1 load of laundry down ... Where does this stuff all come from? LOL I think the DH looks in the hamper, and if it's empty ... dumps clothes in just to be sure I'm busy. We can't possibly wear all these clothes!
I haven't had my water, but I did eat my oatmeal and had my coffee this morning. I have a salad in there for lunch ... but I have to tell you, I'm not much on salads in the winter months. I love to go out and eat these fancy ones ... anyway, am havin spinach with romaine and some red pepper. Hmmm, got an egg I can toss on along with some black olives.
Woofens, I've never heard of that either. I'm so sorry to learn about your children. It's always harder when the little ones are affected, isn't it. We can handle anything. LOL It's amazing the way kids adjust, though. I'll be keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep us updated.
I'm not sure, but I think I saw Maria post on Kim and Howie's thread possibly yesterday. I miss hearing from her and about Samson, also. She is a delightful person.
Kelly, I too can start the daily but must confess I'm not dependable as to when I'm around. You definitely can't count on me for mornings, though. LOL I don't do mornings.
Oh, and the talking scales ... the *only* good thing about talking scales are ... I don't have to get the DH to weigh me, LOL
Hey Hap ... that's just great about your Dad. So glad your last visit before you had to leave went better. He will continue to be in my prayers.
Did y'all see Pati's post on her prayer thread? We need to remember her also. Her DD is having surgery.
Okay, let me get up from here. I'm going to be a good girl and get a glass of water. Hi to everyone.
... Elaine
Woofens - I must have read about your children in another thread. Until then I had not heard of ACM. I have prayed for your family and will continue to do so. My grandniece has AMC which is completely different.
My breakfast is quickly turning into lunch as I have been too busy chatting with you all! Today it will be tossed salad with herbs, and scrambled eggs.
Later!
oooo, gotta remember the water also,,,,,I have decided the scale lied to me,,,,,can't possibly be correct,,,, ,,,,LOL
I'm usually on later in the evenings/night so I will watch for the new thrread about 10:30,,,if it's not started by someone else, I'll *Git R Done*
Kelly
Oh y'all if anyone's interested in fragrant gardening ... check out the new fragrant gardening forum we've gotten started.
http://davesgarden.com/forums/f/fragrant/all/
Hey everybody!. Went home last night and crashed. Have gotten a doozie of a cold. Been too busy here at work to even check in at DG. Also, feel like I'm moving in slow motion from taking cold meds.
Hap- So glad to hear about your dad.
Woofens - I think I read about your kids in another thread as well. I will continue to keep your family in my prayers.
Jody - what a cute puppy! Give him a snuggle for me.
I got stuck with those fat genes from my family. I'm a size 20 and somewhat thin compared to a couple others in the family. Sitting at a desk 8 hrs a day doesn't help the hiney. I find excuses to get up and move when i can.
See ya!
suzie,
Sorry to hear about the cold,,,,get a good slathering of Vick's on your feet tonight with socks,,,,have heard great things about it.
Kelly
Oh Suzie ... so sorry to hear you have a cold. That's really rotten. Am passing a tissue and a cup of chicken soup. Also sending big get well hugs your way.
Jody, so nice to have a new little puppy. *sigh* It's just best for me not to be around them. LOL I want to adopt everyone I see. LOL
Okay, will check in later.
... Elaine
That may not be 'just' a cold, the latest flu is mainly upper respiratory congestion and coughing along with typical exhaustion. [that's caused by so much of your body's energy being spent fighting the bug]
oOOOOOoo, Blooms,,,,,,, that sounds terrible,,,,
suzie,,,,
get plenty of rest,,,sounds like that's what you need.
Well, I've definately got the cought and exhaustion. I'll think posititve that it's only a cold.
Elaine, thanks for the tissue and soup!
suzie,
I just made some Beef Stew,,,,should be good for a cold,,,,,want some for din-din???? You stay on the couch,,,I'll bring it to ya,,,LOL
Kelly
Kelly - I'm actually at work today, but leaving early. The drugs are keeping me going. I have to take cold meds in small doses as they seem to bring on panic attacks. In about an hour I'll be home on the couch. (and computer chair, LOL) Beef stew sounds good.
Back from the cleaning job- it wasn't too bad. I did get my cousin three new blinds and tried to put them up - I just don't have enough oomph in my arms to screw things in. I had to call in my cousin to help me (not the one with one arm!!) We got it done and it looks so much better.
Then I took my two neices and their two kids out for lunch. Ordered a double cheeseburger and big fries before I know what I was doing!! Couldn't waste all that food, but now I feel tremendous guilt. I'll salad it tonight. One step forward and two steps back. - ohhh if only the sun would shine=- I know I would do better!! GG - how ya doing???
My eyes feel all gooey and scratchy today. It may be from all the dust/dirt in the house I cleaned. Gonna hop in the shower and get rid of all the grime I have on me.
DH is mad at me - for two days he came home and found I left my heating pad on high. Gosh, I was sure I turned it off today!!! He's giving ME the silent treatment! LOL He'll get over it.....(I told him to get me one that has a shut off after two hours!)
Well, I need to get on the horn and call 6 friends. One of our group turns 50 (she's by far the baby) and her husband has arranged a trip for her and wants all of us to go - trip to Chicago, staying in a ritzie hotel, and dinner at a blues club, taking a train from Mich to Chicago both ways. I'm not going- for one thing I don't want to blow $$ on something like that. I feel kinda guilty for not celebrating with her, but she is extremely wealthy and I am retired...big difference. Hope she will understand!
suzie,
glad you are leaving early,,,will be nice to get home a curled up in the puter chair,,,or the couch,,,,,LOL
Elaine,
Certainly,,,,,You sit right where you are and I'll get you some,,,,crackers with the stew??? LOL
sarv,
Shame on you,,,LOL hard to break those habits isn't it? Hope your eyes are just scratchy from the cleaning and your not getting the bug that's going around. OOOOO, don't burn the house down with the heating pad. And I wouldn't want to spend that kind of money either for a weekend like that,,,If she doesn't understand,,,,she isn't a friend,,,she'll understand.
How am I doing,,,,well,,,,I take a Thyroid pill every morning and I can't eat for an hour after that pill,,,,so,,,I usually skip breakfast,,,well actually,,,,breakfast is usually coffee and cigarettes,,,LOL BUT,,,,with my newly revised eating,,,I had 2 pieces of American cheese for breakfast an hour after I took my meds and for lunch I had a wonderful salad,,,,tasted good and felt good to be back on track. Weighed myself this morning and decided that my scale is WRONG,,,,so, I will be having a nice salad and some shrimp for din-din and maybe a nice veggie.
And I have a headache,,,LOL I suppose that's from looking at the puter screen all day,,,,haven't had a customer yet,,,but will be busy from 3:00 to 7:00 so at least that's something.
Well, better get into the salon,,,,,see ya all later,
Kelly
Elaine,,,
get yer hiney out of that chair,,,,LOL,,,Like I should talk,,,,spent my whole day here,,,,grrrrrr
Kelly
Hi all!
Home again... took MIL to get her colonoscopy, (no, I did NOT get one, ha ha! patience, patience, I'll do it sooner - or later ---) and the doc decided to do an endoscopy too, since it was recommended after she was ill in '03 and never ordered. Both looked excellent and she only had one very small polyp, which they removed. Also had a couple diverticuli - but they looked ok and I know she's never had an attack. So that's all good news, now we still have no idea why she is so low on blood. My guess is that now the doc will put her on an iron regiment and diet. The cleanout yesterday went amazingly well, she was a real trooper and downed that stuff with no problem. I was quite surprised! She's pretty wobbly right now and I left her in her apt. but warned her sternly to call me if she has to go to the bathroom and can't get out of her chair.
TTYL!
Kooger, glad to hear about your MIL. and good test results. So glad to hear it wasn't you, too. LOL
My DD got his test results back today and the doc says he has Myelodyplastic Syndrome which can progress to acute myeloid leukemia and is referred to often as a precancerous condition. I don't know what this will mean for him in the future, but right now, he is a stage 1 ... so that's good.
Has anyone been looking at plants and seeds besides me? I'm trying to decide what I'm going to have room for this year. There are so many interesting sounding ones out there. It's just so hard to make up my mind. LOL
So where in the world is everyone today? Mary, Ann, Defoe, Darius, Molly, Meezers, Mags ... where oh where are y'all!
... Elaine
Yeah, where is everybody? Maybe Maria forgot to watch the new thread. I do that sometimes, and wonder why nobody is posting!
I know where I've been, up to my wazoo cleaning up this house. Did the laundry room, DH can't seem to clean out the stationary tub after he gunks it up with mud or grease, there was a big black smear in front of it too, on the ceramic tile, so I cleaned the whole floor, lots of lint bunnies hiding behind the washer and dryer. Washed the dirty scatter rugs in there plus the rug from the small bathroom.
Then I vac'd all the carpets, dusted and windexed the living room, threw all the ashtrays in the dishwasher, so everything in the LR is spic and span. Forgot to take down the stupid tree. Not a big deal, just squash it back in the box. Gave the kitchen counters a quick swipe, and called it a morning well spent.
All I had for breakfast was one biscotti, no effort at all to avoid eating more, they are all gone! For lunch, I made myself a roast pork, lettuce and tomato sandwich. Then went over to DIL's to clip Max's claws. He must have forgotten having it done before, because he got pretty hissy and squirmy. Of course, he has not had it done for two months, since he left here, so he was offended. I doubt if she will keep it up. Then he will need a good cedar scratching post!
Dinner will be leftover stew from the freezer and a loaf of hot french bread. Tomorrow I'll start a pot of stock with that ham bone and divvy it up for pea and bean soups. Got a note from Vietnam vets asking for clothing, etc, and had already committed to a donation to Purple Heart, so I guess I'll have to go scavenge through DH's closet and find some more things he doesn't use.
Nasty bugs going around, cold and flu. So far, so good, I don't get exposed to many people which I'm sure helps. I looked for that Airbourne spray but only looked in one store. Keep well, or get well, we can't have a good coffee klatch without you!
Woofens, I'm sorry to hear all your children have such a burdensome disease, it must be very hard to monitor it along with all the other childhood ailments that go around. I wish you the best, you must have gotten an extra dose of patience somewhere , as we don't hear you complain about it.
Hap I think the 2X4 misfired and hit me instead of you. LOL Fortunately, my cleaning spurts burn out quickly and I can go back to my casual approach to housework.
Hope everyone had a good day, I pulled the curtains closed so I didn't have to look at the ugly fog and rain. No sunshine in the forecast either. Mud everywhere. Bleahhhhh!
Later!
Sheila
M5, send it back because it completely missed me......I promise I will do better tomorrow.....feeling much better tonight. And who said drugs are bad for you....hehehe
Had a get-together with our S. Florida Galloping Gardeners. There were 7 of us that went "Correcting a community's garden that had too much growth...." get my drift???? After our pruning spree, we went to one of the member's house for lunch. Great day in the sun and it was about 75-80 and absolutely clear skies......(eat your hearts out, LOL) Even my DH came, which was a real surprise. Great day.
It's wonderful that every one's tests are coming out so well. Prayers and good thoughts really do help.
Have a great evening and I'll see ya all in the am.
Hap
hiss - spit, get the 2x4 - 80 deg temps!!! Not fair!!!!! Another gloomy, rainy day for tomorrow also. Weather guy said we have had some form of precipitation for 44 days.....that's the pits!!!! Did someone say 78 days until spring?
M5- got your cleaning done for the entire year!! Man, you must have been moving!!! Time to put your feet up now.
Kooger- so glad MIL came out fine with the hose procedure. I have to have them every 5 yrs because of some precancerous polyps. Not something I am looking forward too. I'm hoping they will have something OTHER than the swill you have to drink!
Woof- man having all those problems with the children is the pits. Ones that go thru the usual ups and downs are trial enough without throwing all that extra stuff in too. Does your son ever dig in his heels and say he won't go to the respite center?
GG - I read what you wrote about starting a new thread and it is still mighty greek to me! I do better with someone showing me....
DH is snoring in the chair (he's still ticked at me...) and I'm trying to ignore his glaring looks. (when he actually wakes up!! ) I think the nasty weather is affecting him too.
Oh my so many not feeling well I do hope you all take care and get better.
Vicks on your feet Kelly???? now where on earth did you hear that and who on earth would be silly enough to try it???
LMAO
Hi everyone,
I've tried to at least keep up with reading the posts over the holidays even if I didn't have time to post anything myself, but I finally had to give it up! This time of year generally throws me into a complete melt-down. Between the store, baking 5 or 6 kinds of cookies, getting the tree cut, put up, and decorated, then right after Xmas going straight into inventory mode and trying to get everything in the store counted as close to Jan. 1 as possible, on top of my usual depression, means that by Jan 2 all I want to do is curl up in a corner somewhere and sleep for about a week.
I know there have been new people peeking in and lots of events in the lives of the "regulars". I apologize for not being able to address the people or the subjects in specific. I'm glad to see that d'cat's MIL seems to be doing alright and that the situation at Molly's place is much improved.
Our holidays went pretty well. Both my SIL's seemed really pleased with their gifts and the weather co-operated so that none of us had to travel in treacherous conditions. Of course the weather since then has not been so co-operative at all. We never even made it in to the store on Tuesday due to an all day snowstorm. The person who we hired to plow our drive STILL hasn't gotten over here and there's no way my mother would be able to get her car out of the driveway on her own at this point.
Still feeling about as energetic as a banana, so I think I'll just crawl back to my corner now. Goodnight.
Just can not keep up with you people but I do read all your posts when ever I have a chance, I feel guilty not responding to you individually , so please forgive me but I do want you to know I am sorry for some of you or your family members who are ill, get well soon, all of you.
So far I am ok though I thought might catch my SIL's cold when he and DD were here he has a terrible cough to go with it, wonder if he has the flue?
What is ACM and AMC, Janis, or who ever might know?
I am a firm believer it is too much or not the right food that accumulates weight, I put on 2 lbs. eating some of my baked goodies for the holidays, things I usually do not eat. Exercise is wonderful to keep the muscle tone and to keep lungs and heart strong but it will not do any good eating too many calories that are usually associated with too much sugar and fat, not to mention the amount of servings one eats.
I could snatch Eddy away from you, Jasmir, he is adorable but I wonder if he will be as rambunctious as my Samson is right now? Here is Samson, wondering what is she doing with that strange thing in front of her face? ;-)
IO1- I'd love to come clean your house. I get much more satisfaction cleaning other peoples houses than I do my own!
Good to see ya Maria - heavens you don't have to respond to everyone!! We just want to know what you've been up to. Hope you don't catch those sniffles! Did you ever get your generator hooked up! DH is still looking in the paper for one. He loves to read the 'for sale' part of the paper. Our weather has been so screwy this year that I think we should get one right now.
McCool - the holidays always put me in a major funk and I am a different person when they are over. Just too much of everything during that time....I thought it would get better once I retired, but it hasn't. November and December are always bleak times of the year for me. But now we are on the downhill return of spring!! I have seeds on the heat matt and am taking cuttings of my cuttings!!
DH just brought me a small scoop of sherbert- guess he is over being disgusted with me! Think I'll hit him up for a back rub....
Maria all I can say is thank you for posting that most handsome face here!!!
Samson you are awesome!!!
Hi everyone haven,t been on as usual working . It,s gone from bad to worse I told you all that half the saff was out or hurt from falls well now another nurse is out very sad news her hubby past away. So now we are in a pickle We need a R.N. to charge te unit I use to be able to but things changed and I,m a L.P.N So I . can't so it's been very interesting we have been doing doubles, split shifts and one nurse stays over night because she lives in west bend and It's a drive .It wouldn't be hard to get a R.N> And she is the only one who will help out!! So far no manditory stay over I 'm waiting for that to happen hasn't happend but afew time but only a few are keeping the unit going and we are getting Fried!!No R.N form from another units but we are on a vent unit and you have to know how the vents work and all that good stuff I,have worked straight threw December, except one day off at the hospital and at my other job and it doesnt look to promising this month either I figure by the time spring comes things will get better . If this keep up I'll need to take geritol . maybe thats not a bad Idea .... HI Elaine how it going with the laundry I just started aload . have about four more to go..Kelly I wish you lived closer I need my hair done!!.. Meezer I haven't forgotten you either we will have to get together for that coffee.. as soon as there is relief in site and I can get OFF Wow whats it like to clean house even that sound enjoyable!! .Well hope you all good health !! And better days..............Sharon
You are so right, magoobu, Samson is handsome, thank you!
Sarv, this morning they finallly connected the generator, hurrah!!! Waited for it since last October. Its fuel is Propane gas, very quiet, cannot hear it at all, really am happy to have it even though it costed a fortune, .I will be able to use what ever is needed for electricity except AC in the summer but I shant miss it if that is all.
Other then that I am not much up to anything, except going to the market mostly for Samson's food, or the drug store for my medicine and cleaning all the hair and dirt Samson creates when he comes in from out of doors, never have vaccumed as much as I have done lately, don't even bother putting the vacuum away, lol
Talk about cutting his nails, do not know how to but I am afraid he needs them cut, my husband always took care of the animals we had wish I had paid more attention
Maria get some good clippers and just do the very tip that starts to curl over. if you cannot do it--- do what I do and the vet takes care of it for me.
Vacuuming here never ends I have to did it every other day at the least -- never mind have to do the sofas everyday! LOL
