Does anyone have any info on these people? Has anyone ordered from them in the past?

Seed Sprout Nusery
I ordered from her last year. Got wonderful healthy plants, all good size, carefully packed and shipped. I'd give her a very high rating!

They seem to have positive ratings.
Thank you Mary, I just didnt see anything in Gwd so I thought I would ask.
I dont know what Im doing wrong but I cant seen to pull it up by name.
Thanks Gardenguy for the link!
I knew there had to be an easier way. Thanks Again
that is Brenda's store. She does have nice healthy plants with good prices
I've always gotten healthy plants from Brenda.
I just ordered some seeds.. I can't resist. :)
I dare not even going to go look. I am so easy!
Lot of wonderful pinks Kell!!
Euuuuu, Caren, you are too mean! LOL. I am so weak. I see, I want, I get. I am such a sucker for pinks too.
he he!
Yeah.... I've got to learn not to look! I'm weak.. I went back for a Maya.. after seeing scooterbugs pics this am, I was on the hunt. LOL
Gonna have to get a sign... "Will work for brugs" Or if I don't stop it will have to read.. "Hungry, please help" !!!!!!!!
To be honest, roses have my eye right now. Bareroot season. I am going nuts trying to plan a new rose bed. I have decided to put in 2 more arbors. Soon you won't be able to even turn around in this yard. LOL.
If any of you are rose lovers, Costco has some great bush and tree type roses for a really good price. Jackson and Perkins own root. Big ones too. Lots of English Roses.
HM HM GOOD!!!
Is there a fragrant, ever blooming rose, easy to grow (as if!!)?
Kell, if you ever find an 'American Dream' do yourself a huge favor and get it. I found one several years ago and have not been able to locate another. I practically pray over it every winter.. afraid I'll lose it. It has a bloom that is consistantly 5+ inches across and looks like velvet.. smells divine.
Barb
Oh, did anyone check out the new ones they're coming out with? I put my name in for #9... it is To Die For!!! Gawjus in the extreme! Thanks for query on it, Heavinscent.
Barb
OH... I looked at the site the other day... and I was so good..
today however I went right back .. like it was new ... and got some seeds... and put myself down for #1 and # 9 [ Barb... the prettiest one right ..] just what I was missing... but it was like they were free... I paid with my paypal account... filled up with returned postage.... just like free..
Thanks ... Gordon
If there is any way y'all can make it to the Fla/Ala spring swap, DO!! Not only can you meet Brenda (super nice, and great plants!) and other wonderful members, but you may get the brugs ( and other things) you can usually only dream of!! I for instance would happily trade MM, AxelRose, or and American Pride for variegated elephant ears! (it's what we don't have that drives us to madness!!).
Oh shoot, so I had to go look. LOL. You guys talking about specific ones got to me. I sure like Southern Belle!
My paypal account is going to die of fatigue, I have used it so much lately. And it is hooked up to my husband's email and account so he sees all. Just as good though for I have no money.
Oh Barb, that is a beauty. I will now look for it. I particularly like tree roses for I have no space. I can plant under a tree rose.
Daybreak? It's my best and favorite yellow. Stays yellow, partially open in the day, Strong grower, Great fragrance, easy pod or pollen parent, bug resistant, a Dandy!! Great price for all that! I think it's Susie's? I'll be moving/culling/giveing away/selling quite a few this coming spring, but that isn't one of them!!
oops! Well, I love Daybreak, but I just found the one you are referring to...Anybody know the name? it is an eyecatcher!
Kristi, are you asking about #9? That one is now at the top of my "I Gotta Have It!!!" list.
Where do we find out the details of the Fl/Ala spring swap? I only have brugs in bubblers now, but am getting set up to start about a dozen varieties of Datura.
Oh wow.. I can't wait to meet everyone.
Barb
I just emailed them about #16.. I have got to have that one! That color just makes me crazy.
I included a request for info about #9.
Will let you know what I hear.
Second look.. #12 is quite pretty.. #16 is a little small.. but the color is my fav.

Here is the response from Seed Sprout.. (Brenda) rather quick response I'd say..
We love the "electric" orange we are getting on some of these crosses. Thick bloom and great fragrance.
We will add you to the mailing list and let you know when they become available. Should you not hear from us, don't hesitate to E-mail us with future inquiries.
We have trial grown these through 2005 and will begin introducing them later this new year! We are very excited about the ones that were worth holding over for trials.

Barb, I found your rose at
http://www.abetterplant.com/rose%20section/hybrid_tea_roses%20A%20.htm
I have been looking for a few I need and was so surprised to see yours. I had looked on my usual rose online sites the other day and couldn't find it.
Oh my, I looked up that company here to get their rating and forget it. I would never order from them. I had a few I really wanted too of the 60 in trees. What negatives!!!

Kristi i just took some cuttings of Daybreak. If all goes well I will bring them to Fla/Al to trade.
Kell, thanks for the heads up on the vendor. I wondered when he described it as having bright green foliage in one place and dark green foliage in another.. not to mention calling it America's Dream on one page and changing to American Dream on the other. It has a heavy rose fragrance, also, not a hint of spice.
If ever you want a pink/red tea with a heavy spice scent, try Cajun Spice.
Jim, thanks for the links to the roundups.
Gordon, agreed about #9.. it's a beaut! I'd lean more toward #3 as a pink, but then I like the longer tendrils.
Will Spring ever come????
Whew, what a mess. I really prefer using PayPal for internet purchases and such situations as with the above operation are why, I don't like getting hung with something with a credit card company that is interested in zero except payment, which is fine, they promise nothing else and that is their business. OTOH, PayPal investigates all complaints, immediately. I've only had two very minor complaints, but PayPal takes care of business with the vendors that use the PayPal service and they don't beat around the bush and the vendors apparently value the service because they are prompt, re complaints. When I order online, if I cannot use PayPal, I find another vendor...
"will spring ever come????"
Lol!! No doubt, then the summer heat!
That is somenthing else great about the announcement of the swap, for me. It always comes quicker than I am ready for; so the news that the date is set makes me know that the time will pass all to quickly, and BAM it will be here!!
LOL Kristi! I know, it's the same every year.. can't wait for the heat and humidity to leave and then can't wait for the cold to go away. I guess that's because Spring and Fall are my most favorite times of year. Hey, I'll be passing right by your place on the way to the swap, too! Look forward to meeting you! Gosh, I'd better get those seeds started to have the plants big enough to trade, huh!
Barb
I will keep an eye out for variegated Ears Kristi! ; )
