Wishlists for second easter trade (mid May)

My wishlist:

Anything with bell blossoms or green blossoms. I also like Buckeye and Ma's varieties. Otherwise, anything! I've never met a gesneriad I didn't like.

Ok, here's my wish list. In no way is it complete, and there may be some on here that no one has ever even seen because they're so rare. If so, please excuse me - I just picked the ones I saw pictures of that I liked! My overall favorite characteristics are variegated leaves and true blue blooms. I think semiminiatures and trailers have probably taken over as my favorite types, but I love minis and standards, too. Most of these are probably standards, but again, I just liked the way they look. :o) I'm not picky and will love ALL the ones I get. :o)

LOL I should have posted it before now, but it was waaay too long. I had added tons of names, so I went back through and narrowed it down, but it's still quite long. I guess the moral of the story is, if it's variegated I want it, and I haven't seen one yet that I don't like. I've spent much time perusing every picture of AVs that I can find. :o)

I believe I sent you a couple buckey varieties...I also sent you Minnesota haze which is variegated.
LOL So I am sure you will like this batch.
I will keep all that in mind when I make up a second batch for ya.

Rg first you wanted all minis ..then I noticed your mini plant is really not a mini. I was worried running out of minis to send you and sent standards too. lol
Funny how we really love them all . Each time I see a new one I love it !

What is this about? Is it a trade or do you just put your wish list down?

Well ill started and organized the first Easter Bunny secret swap...Then it was closed I think Nov, 30 ?
The Lorry organized another one. And it's closed.
So I think it's private trades now. I think it the fall we should have another Hugh secret swap before it gets cold. Everyone should have a lot of new babies and leaves in the fall :))

Ahh - I hadn't seen anything before this...they must be a few pages back - thanks for clarifying . I'll keep a watch for the Fall swap...

I'm thinking maybe we should start different threads with wish lists for individual trades, to keep the secret trade threads from getting too confusing.... Wish lists for the second secret spring trade should go here, and wish lists for the secret easter bunny trade that I organized should go on that thread.

Otherwise, you could just start a new thread with a wish list and a list of what you have to trade. People start their own threads like that all the time on the plant and seed trading forums, and I think it helps keep things a little less complicated... and it makes the info easier to find when you're trying to figure out if you have anything to trade that they'd like & vice versa. I've just been posting what I have on my picture thread as I go along, and people have replied to say, oh! I'd really love that one, and then I add it to their wish list in my trade tracker.

I can't wait to get the package from you Lorry! I told Allison that I'm marking all my plants and leaves with who I got them from so I can remember. That makes them special to me. :o)

Allison, which mini isn't a mini? I couldn't just stick to minis, there are way too many that I want in other types! And don't worry about running out of ones I'd like. I haven't seen one of yours yet that I'd turn down! LOL
As far as what you sent me, I know I got B-Man's Cosmo and in Rob's you sent Boolaroo and Boogie Woogie.

Amy your first plant you got you called a mini and wanted minis beacasue you did not have much room . So I sent a bunch of minis and asked is large were ok and you said yes ! Then I was looking at your pictures of your noids remeber and I told you they were not Mini's :))

The Optimara littles are tiny minis can be considered Micro even :)) I do love the minis but then there are so many large I adore. There is not an African violet I don't love :))

this plant remember we firgured it's not a mini and minis
are 3-6 inches full grown and semi's 6-8 then 8 up standards.
And you wanted all mini's for your windowsill :))

Oh yes Lorry I got lots of little babies from them ! I planned on sending you them. I wish I had more kinds. Their those tiny ones. Like Mircros. The Little Series. Their so hard to get and if you buy a set of leaves from vendors like $14.50 for one set of leaves. So I feel lucky to have the couple I do. and the leaves gave me many babies ! I have Midget Lilian for you too ! I have one for Jill too ! I also have Lillian Sparkler it's Mosaic but Standard by Champion if you'd like one Lorry ?
I tried working on Bob's box hours ago but was in my chair ten mintues and got so shaky and dizzy and weak I had to get back in bed. I'm going to try again now :))

I hope he likes it. I only sent him to good size Av's the rest all Gessie's. I hope he loves everything so he'll send me more Plumerias :))

How is that you got these Russian AVs- have they all been offered by Bluebird or other nurseries?

April....Bluebird does have several of the Russian violets..they are about 10.00 a piece I believe
