The Russians are pretty! There is a link to many photos on the AV society site- many more than Bluebirds- they seem to have larger flowers on many of theirs and some of the hybridizers are willing and able to email in english.

Hey guys, don't forget to go to our sticky, there is a gallery section in the links with links to several Russian sites. LOTS of eye candy there!

Dear Easter Bunny,

I have been very good this year. : ) Here is a wish list:

Rhapsodie Pamela
Witch Doctor
Mac's Kismet Knight
Tipped Honey
Rob's Bunny Hop
Mac's Rouge Rouge
Snuggles Little Dreamer : )
Out on a limb here: Chirita Gemella

Actually, I am not too picky. I like the symmetrical kind of violet best. Semi-Mini seems to be my favorite size. I don't have enough room for the HUGE ones. I don't really like the heavily varigated - just some. The one I have that is really varigated is not growing really well, just so so. I am really not picky, though. : )

How do I know what to start getting/growing/starting for someone?

Oh, yeah. One more Allegro Mabel Joy. I have one, but could never have too many of this. The plant is gorgeous even without flowers on it. Does anyone else want it? I think it is the prettiest violet plant I have ever seen. I do have one leaf down that is taking root.

Lorry, I really think you would love this plant. I did not grow it from a leaf. I bought it. I will try to attach a picture. Allegro Mabel Joy.

Ok Begonia- mine are 16 & 18- these are my last 2 of 3, the other is 27 and on her own! Surely someone else would be willing to trade?

I like the yellow violets, in my other life- outside plants for 9a - 9b, I have found that some hybrids do not do as well, are fussier or whatever. Do any of you have any experience or comments w/ any of the yellows?

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

The yellows grow slower and need less light..that is about all I know :)
I have some of them...I think 4 varieties but most are still too small to donate leaves.
I believe the only one I have big enough to donate would be golden eye.

Missouri City, TX(Zone 9a)

Do they bloom as often and readily?

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

They bloom fine for me :)

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

I also have Ness' Coral sunset. I will put leaves of her up this weekend

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

In case you guys have not added here..please do..So your bunnies know what to bring you in your basket!

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Also try putting down a leaf or two of each plant I sent YOU !

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Barhatnaya Fantaziya (Boris Makuny)
