"Winter" DG Banner?

Well, this is the third time I've seen it happen that the post didn't survive. Please repost what you were going to say and I'll continue working to find out what is causing this.

Lol! Thanks for the heads up that it didn't post!

I just said that even though I realize everyone is still involved with the Photo contest, was wondering if anyone was interesting in developing a "winter" banner to take the place of our lovely mums for the next few months.

Oh, & I don't know whether or not this helps you in your research Dave, but I did check my post right after I wrote it & it did show up, so it must have gone on hiatus after that.

I'd love to see a winter banner!

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Definitely! It would be nice to change with the seasons!

I'll play....

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

I think I may have a couple snow pictures laying around.

Spokane Valley, WA(Zone 5b)

As much as I have personally enjoyed the mums banner, I'd love to see a new one for wintertime! ;-)

How about adapting the winning pic in the Winter category of “Seasons” to be this banner? I think that would be in tune with Melody's suggestion on the contest thread if I understood her correctly.

Breezy I have been thinking the same thing the Mums are lovely but time to move on huh?

I also would enjoy a winter banner.
Great idea

I think so. Some snow or even just evergreens would be nice.

I'm willing to get it going if Dave says yes. I'll be waiting for his decision...

Yes! :) Having a banner for each season would be super cool. Paul, if you're willing, how about we immediately create a spring and summer one right after the winter one is made?

(Interestingly, for me if feels like spring. We've been in the upper 70's and lower 80's all week)

Thanks, Paul!

And yes, Terry, I was expecting the tar and feathers posthaste. :) We have had some truly wonderful weather, as all the texans could testify to. It's been outstanding. Reason #5745 to live in Texas. :)
