Judy, this song gives me tingles. I remember seeing the movie "The Rose" with Bette Midler when I was just a teenager and I was blown away. I bought the album and loved every song on it. I still have it, but I don't have a turntable anymore!

toni5735, do your soul a favor and get a turntable!!!! Check the Goodwill and the Salvation Army for a really cheap one.. what a small price to make the soul smile...

I have no idea.... my heart was touched by an email I received from a friend tonight and it reminded me of The Rose.

I hope I will always have a heart that is not afraid of breaking, that will always take the chance.

Oh thank you, I heard it on one of the oldies stations the other day, it was our wedding song in 1986, and I still love it.
