Pleasureville, KY(Zone 6a)

Well, this is really a bad bad day. Finished my soak in the tub, was about done with replying to all the posts, and computer just lost everything I had typed for 15 minutes. So needless to say, I am not going to type it again, and will try to do better about posting tomorrow. Mood is a lot better, but am as tired as a dog, from the past 2 days of work for the family gathering. Ingrate sister, has always been this way, but have to remember I am doing this for DM as she is not physically able to do the dinner, I know she appreciates it and that is enough for me.

Had several comments about cats. I have a part Maine Coon and Persian. Now that's a combination, but she is a sweet 7 year old. I have a calico, who weighs 21 pounds, and is a sweetie. Her nickname is "Fat Cat", real name "Patches". Was raised with a puppy and they are best of friends. The only dealings I have had with a Siamese, was not a pleasant one. Had one jump on my back, leaving 6-8 inch scratches down my back.

Eweed, Abby is going to be overjoyed to be with you on Christmas, now don't you spoil her.

Can't wait to hear Darius's story about her sister. You are right people don't change.

I am an MIL, many times as DS has been married several times. Have told all of them I am who I am, If I hurt your feelings, tell me and we will fix it. But I am an Up and Up person, play no games with me and we will get along. And have with the exception of 1.

Well to all I had comments for----forget it, will try to do better in the days ahead. But when you are away for a day and try to catch up, it is very difficult, and throw in a tempermental computer and it gets almost impossible.

Good night to all, and I will see you in the morning. Keep DMIL in prayers tonight, she has the catherization tomorrow morning. Has to be there at 6:00 am. Will let you know, if we know anything tomorrow.

Thanks all for your thoughts and prayers.

Good Night.

Greetings,

long, busy day - church, played a concert, had dinner at a friend's house. Just now starting to read.

Sarv. YOU DO NOT EVER WANT TWINS--I know I am one. No DS and I are very close, but I am sure DM would have changed it if she could.

My daughter has twins - now nearly 3 3/4. She thinks she got off easy. Not a bad pregnancy, though certainly not comfortable at the end. There were anxious moments when they weren't feeding too well at the beginning, and they never did breast feed well, but once they were over the first few weeks, things got a bit easier and from less than a year old, they did a lot to entertain each other. I'm not so sure she would want to have changed it.

I agree with you about those inflatable decorations. TACKY!!!

I'm only up to Maria's Russian Tea-cake recipe and I have to give up reading. Gotta go to bed. Have another concert to play tomorrow evening and need to finish shopping tomorrow if I can.

I DID put a composite pic of some of our Christmas decorations up on a thread on the Canadian Forum.

Will try to get to the end of the thread tomorrow.

Defoecat, hugs to you. I hope that tomorrow is a wonderful day for you.

Ann, I was able to hear a group of bell players earlier today at the mall. I was so amazed at the sound. I bet yours sounds so much better in a place that doesn't have the mall crowds in the back ground. I hope you enjoyed your dinner and were able to relax.

Maria, good luck in getting all your Christmas cards out.

Julie, an extra long hug for you....

Casey
