redreshing or reloading

Alexandria, IN(Zone 6a)

I find that the messages on the forums are not automatically keeping up and am reloading a lot. Is there any remedy?

On second thought maybe this is on the home site rather than the forums site?

You can use the 'Refresh' button on your browser header.

I have a reload on Netscape, but am wondering why things stop updating much of the time.

Remember to click on the Home tab, rather than the Back Button. Could that be the problem?

If you're hitting the "home" tab, it's most likely your browser settings that aren't refreshing. I can't recall specifically how to view and/or change them, but a search on the Computer Talk forum may help - if not, I'd be happy to move your question over there, or you can re-post it there for assistance.

Thanks all, for the help. It has done fine so far today. I don't know what is cutting it off yet., but will let it ride for now.

If you're using Internet Explorer, I had this same problem about a month ago. Go to tools ~ internet options ~ then under Temporary Internet Files go to settings. At the top of that window where it says check for new versions of the page, make sure every visit to the page is checked.

Hope that helps,
Mendy
