Hi all,
Well, I got out the Christmas decorations today. The DH and I also went and got a live tree this year. Ahh, it already has the house smelling sooo wonderful. I always decorate the day after Thanksgiving and take it down the day after Christmas. I figure if I'm going to drag it all out ... might as well enjoy it for a bit. :)
Ann, I thoroughly enjoyed the link you gave us. The music is awesome. It only made me want to go to one of your concerts more, though. :) I must confess to sitting here and listening to several of the beautiful songs. Even my DH walked in my office to see what I was playing. Thanks so much for sharing with us.
Babs. I, too, would like to give my thanks to you for the sacrifices I know you make with your profession. My SIL is a nurse so I'm aware of what all you give on a daily basis.
To everyone else ... please overlook me for not replying personally. Am glad to know each of you have had a safe holiday. Will try to do better tomorrow.
... Elaine
From the sounds of it, everyone had a nice TG with their families. Glad to hear it.
Read through all the posts but just don't have the gumption to mention particulars,,,LOL
Nitey Nite All, See you tomorrow

YES, snow in Las Vegas. I have lived here since 71 and this is the third real snow that has actually stuck and made the ground white. The picture is about half of what we ended up with. We get flurries in January quite often but they melt as soon as they touch the ground. Las Vegas sits in the middle of mountain ranges. So when the winds start to blow through the ranges they pick up the snow flakes and they come into the valley. Its usually not cold enough to sustain the snow. But we get some weird days such as the one below and it sticks. By 2 that afternoon it was all gone and the following day it was in the high 60's again.
See you all on tomorrows thread. Good night
