Have seen people post screenshots to explain their point. I have tried some methods with my limited knowledge but lost patience. Could someone explain it for me how to do it? Thanks.

Screenshot question
Between your alpha keyboard keys and the numeric keypad on your keyboard are keys with Insert, Home, Page Up etc. The top left button in that space says " Print Screen" or something similiar.
With the screen displayed that you want to copy, hold down the SHIFT key and press the "Print Screen" button mentioned above. That copies the screen image onto your clipboard.
Then go to Paint or Imaging or whatever basic image program you have and open it with a new blank page. Press Ctrl and the "V" key and it will past the copied screen image onto the blank file. You can then save that file as a JPG image and save to your hard drive, then upload to your DG post.
lol...I can't make it work to save my life!!!
3G, I had the same problem, so I thought. It doesn't look like anything happens when you do the Prntscrn. But when you COPY it to a new file in an image type of program, i.e., PAINT, it really does show up. :-) Just make sure that the new image is big enough to hold the whole screen. You can always resize it, if needed, after it's in the new image.

Maybe that's the problem, I don't think I have an image type of program on this thing...
Sure you do! Most computers have PAINT in the accessories of Windows somewhere.
If you can't find it, you can try www.photofiltre.com free. It's shareware and works almost as well as "the big boys". I've used it for several years. I do like FREE. :-)
It worked!!! i forgot about paint......thank you so much.
Congratulations!
I felt like an idiot because I didn't think it worked and my MOTHER could get it to work with no problem at all. I just kept on trying and finally got it to work.

Let me tell you, if I can 'learn this' anybody can! LOL.
