Snowy this morning in Colorado! :) The snow I usually detest is actually welcomed today, because it's arriving so late. I'm not sure much is going to stick, as it is those tiny tiny flakes that melt seemingly before they hit the ground. But it is thick and shows no signs of stopping (can you tell we've been watching Willy Wonka here? lol). If the apartment complex is in a white blanket later, I'll post a pic! :) (There's not much to see right now! hehe)
Sarah
It's *finally* snowing! :)
Oh, Sarah - enjoy the snow! We're cold here - I don't think we'll get much above freezing today, but no precipitation, so just c-c-c-cold, and no pretty white stuff ;o)
8.5 of the white stuff was dumped here last night- bring on spring. I'm tired of winter already
As cold as it seems to get here...I wished it would snow LOL At least there will be something to look at other than mud. But it doesn't get THAT cold here. When I used to live in Ohio...I loved it when it snowed. The only thing with that....is when it melts...what a mess!!! then it would freeze...sheesh....ok ok...I don't miss the snow!! LOL
Yes, that's my biggest complaint about snow... is sooo messy! Sheesh! It gets all over my clothes, and my floors and my kid LOL :) Ugh... But it looks pretty if we don't have to go out :)
It's stopped for now.. though it's still cloudy, we'll see what falls tonight, I guess. :)
Sarah
It's so quite when we used to cut through the woods to school. Those were the days before you were aware of the dangers. The only thing you would hear was your breath and the crunching of the snow. Takes me back to my childhood!! Gosh...now I'm getting all sappy LOL
lol sorry lisa :)
Sarah
Got a few flakes here.....enough for me for a long while.
Don't be sorry...sometimes it's good to get a blast from the past LOL I don't usually think that far back...sometimes a bit too busy and wrapped up in today. I have a bunch of snow desktop themes to keep me in the holiday spirit :-)
That might be something to do if you get the inkling to try and take pics of the snow and make desktop themes. Something to do while you wait for spring :-) I love snow scenery pics...if you make one you'll have to post so we can all enjoy your pics.
I'm from Buffalo. Many folks here don't like the snow, but we have great summers so they put up with it. Me, I appreciate all four seasons. I like snow. I'm excited when we get a lot of it. Or when we get our first snow, like now.
I only had to take about 4 inches off my car yesterday, but just to the north a couple of miles they were still raking leaves, and about 15 miles to the south of me (ski country) there was a foot or more.
I just wish we could have the snow without it being so cold. (smiling)
Hey, Sarah, I just realized that you ive in Loveland! I have some friends who live there.
Nap - another snow belt dweller! We didn't get really pelted, only about 6 inches, but it is cold and getting colder, and still flurrying. The new puppy is having a ball. The outside heifers stand around and wait for the hay to come to them
Hey, Kathleen! That's cool! :) My little town is a great place to have friends ;) What do they do for a living? Maybe I know 'em... we're not too big after all :)
Sarah
I know where to look for winter fun-out my window not having to leave the house. I really detest the snow mainly because it comes with the cold which makes my body hurt. It is pretty in small amounts
