GOT MY INTERNET BACK!!!!!!

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Oh gosh! U don't know how much I missed this DG! BEEN WITHOUT for 7 weeks! Hurricane Rita's fault!! I got to catch all..

The tv cable man came by and asked me whats problem.. I told him I need internet cause I can't use phone and I use Internet to use speical phone service. They didn't realized that I am hearing imparied. They came and restored the temporary cable write that run on ground so tomorrow they will come with big truck and restore the cable wire from pole to the pole.

Everything's fine here.. No damage on the house.. but lot of trees damaged. One pine tree that uprooted and fell on cable tv and electric wire to the ground. Got electricity back in two weeks later after Rita hit.

Here Southwest LA ( Lake charles, Sulphur, other town where hurricane rit hit hardest. Most of business are closed, lots of damages. Lots of people are homeless. Lots of blue roofs down the road from my house.

I am doing great lately... still on my weight loss goal.. My children are doing well.. Matt had his first hair cut few weeks ago.

Well enuff for now and gotta to do some chores.. Hope to hear from you soon.. I missed yall!

Love,
Tricia

Welcome Home again!!!! It's good to have you back. Keep us updated on what's going on there now. The media blitz is over and here in the midwest we don't here or read anything about the recovery efforts in the poor damaged water ruined parts of the south. We have had violent tornados around here (no damage in our town) and local efforts and fund raisers are all going to help out the victims and the injured .I feel lost without internet access when our power goes out for a few hours here, so I can only imagine how good it must feel for you to be back online. It is so good to hear from you and know that you and yours are ok. It is true that we are hearing almost nothing about the damage that still has to be dealt with by so many from the 2 hurricanes. We get most of you updates from 700 Club(Operation Blessing) and LeSea Broadcasting(Feeding the Hungry). We have also heard that Habitat for Humanity and Shepard's Purse(Franklin Graham)are still a presence there.
