That's right - yesterday our 600th member signed up. Yesterday was also the first day we had over 10,000 pageviews in a single day - we had somewhere around 11,500 pageviews.

You know, I see the member list growing like the Earth's population, it seems to be doubling itself at an ever-increasing rate...Hypothetically, does that mean thatall of the internet gardening population will be members within the next year? Keep up the great work Dave!!!!!! Kathy

Interesting. Let's see.

Of our 616 total members, 297 signed up this month (so far). By the actual end of month, we should see almost an exact 200% increase. So, using this formula (how many see the flaw already? :) ) we should see:

February: 1200 members
March: 2400 members
April: 4800 members
May: 9600 members
June: 19,200 members
July: 38,400 members
August: 76,800 members
September: 153,600 members
October: 307,200 members
November: 614,400 members
December: 1,228,800 members

So, by December of 2001, we should see over a million members.

Figure that 60% of Americans garden. I heard that 40% of Americans are on-line.

That leaves 30% of Americans who garden online. At around 300 million Americans,
we need to have 90 million members signed up before we have full market penetration.

By around June, 2002 we should be there. VERY BIG GRIN
