Thank you all for your prayers ! Our ride was successful--we had 1258+ horses and grossed over $237,200 for the American Heart Association.
In 2002 our ride was named after my DH, Jack, This was one of our banners:

Rocky actually liked the water once he realized it wasn't going to "get him". He went out up to his knees....and started splashing LOL My riding buddy and owner of both horses, Sherry. We have been best friends for over 25 years. Her horse is named Shadow.

Saturday afternoon at 4PM we served bar B Q to everyone !! we had 2 serving lines. This group of servers are my Family. They have worked with us on almost every ride 24 Rides. My Family has been so very supportive. They do so much to make this event come off looking effortless. There's always plenty of food for campers to join us and also the Perry Family that owns the facility.
Front row: the "Ladies" SIL Karen and S Susan, middle row: the "cowboys" DH Jack, Susan's boyfriend Eric, red cap my Brother Tommy and the back row w/ glasses isPatrick, my nephew.

That's wonderful. Congratulations.
Cowboys for Christ held our Church Service Sunday Morning. Calvin and his horse, Dolly, told the Story of Salvation. An incredible performance. Calvin and his horse perform often. I told him I wanted to buy his horse and he said I could if I could keep up with her schedule. Not a chance, booked solid for a very long time. Very beautiful Palomino mare. This Service closed the Ride for another Season.
Thank you all for the Prayers, they worked. We had very few accidents and no one was hurt badly, just a few colicky horses and a few stitches.

Thanks for all the pictures Margo, it looks like everyone had a wonderful time. Wish I could have seen the ride or better yet, been riding one of those pretty ponies myself.
I know it was lots of work and fun for a good cause. You and Jack did, and have been doing for years, an awesome job for the AHA.
Relax now and have a great time in AC.
Looks like a great trip, Margo. The horses are beautiful. I love the "dance hall ladies". What a colorful bunch you hang out with. LOL And thanks for showing us a picture of yourself too. You're beautiful! Glad it was such a success! Thanks for sharing your trip with us.

Thank you everyone, we did have a great time and we are so very pleased with the results.
You ALL need to make plans to join us next year. If you don't want to ride, we'll find you something fun to do. It is always the first or second weekend of November, depending on the Tide. (once or twice it has been the last weekend in October, again, the Tide LOL)
God bless you all,
Margo
