A note from Knotimpaired

Hello everyone...

This morning I got an email informing me that Knotimpaired and Playa_Cofi will no longer be participating on DG. Karen asked that I pass the following message along for her:

"... so please if you would let everyone know I have truly enjoyed being their friends."

I'm not going to be getting into any discussion about the circumstances surrounding this decision, but wanted to pass along this information.

i feel terrible that it has come to this unhappy ending. i thoroughly enjoyed both of them and there are a couple of forums which just won't be the same without the "knot". au revoir friend gardener.

please tell her we will miss her and give me a holler. will dmail you my email for her if need be.

I'm sick about this because I'm sure I know just how it happened. There are a few people in these forums who enjoy jumping on other people and attacking their credibility. I saw it happen to Knot in the Pets Forum. It's appalling.

it also happened in the plant and seed trading forum. it was mean and uncalled for.

I will miss them also! I hope that they . Knotimpaired and Playa_Cofi, terminated on their own rather then Admin forcing them out. I would like Dave to come in and reassure us.

Anyway we can do anything about this? That isn't right, we need to fix the problem.

It's none of our business what happened. Admin should stay away from this discussion.

I want to say that I have no idea what happened. I'm as surprised as the rest of you. But we ought to mind our own business. If you want answers, email Karen herself.

No sarcasm is intended in any way .. for, considering that ya may've not meant for your comment to 'look' the way it does ...

But, I do believe .. that such determinations are strictly up to {Administration} .. as to whether or not {they} stay away from any discussion here or anywhere in the forums.

I know it's none of my business but just let me say as a long term DG person it creeps me out to have all posts from a person gone... it's like the person herself was erased, you know? I guess we get really real to one another on DG and I had grown quite fond of her posts. It makes me sad that conflicts have to be like this.

God bless you all. I'm praying this will be the last time this has to happen - for whatever reason.

i don't think all of knots post are gone. i think they stay, for the most part anyway.

Im very sad to see them go. I enjoyed their posts. and now we will never have the pleasure of reading the endng of Dangerous Green.

I will miss knots sense of humor, fun and caring posts. It is a shame, really.

Magpye, of course you're right. I'm not TELLING Admin to stay away.

If K and L were removed, there must have been a reason that Admin felt was necessary. You all know and love Dave, based on many comments you've all made in the past, and I think you should all trust him enough to believe he would only have done such a thing after much consideration and with the website's integrity at the front of every decision.

It is my OPINION that for Admin to join this discussion could lead to unpleasantness beyond what is already festering here.

Sometimes it's better not to know everything.

Yes, I'll miss their posts too - they were fun. I can't think what they did wrong, or wrong enough to have to leave, nor why a certain poster on pets forum felt it necessary to be so aggressively rude. All very unpleasant.

I just want to make a comment = IMHO, there isn't anyone in this world that's perfect - in form, function or faculties - we're all capable of mistakes and misjudgements. There aren't any omnipotent gods on DG. Trust and respect is earned - and continually lost and re-earned by actions and reactions. I think there's room for growth on everyone's part because of this incident and hopefully that will happen.

Please, know .. that, in all sincerity .. I am NOT springing any 'claws' or chunking any 'daggers' ...

But, we need to realize that some, may simply need a decent area to share and relinquish ones thoughts.

Such as this very thread ... and, without the need of any one assuming that it's time for target practice.
