My DH is leaving Wednesday to head up to Oregon to start work. We are going to be moving there as soon as the house sells but I will be staying here until then. We just celebrated our 17th Aniversary yesterday and this is the first time we have ever been apart for longer then a weeks time. I really feel for the service wives as I am not looking forward to the separation. I will surely be spending more time on here for the next couple of months.
I guess when I get to Oregon I am going to have to change my name to something other then Tombstonejan. Hum, how about Newportnag. Hehe.
Just finished the African gourd. Its at the ornamental gourd site. Check it out.

Are you really moving to Oregon, Jan? Newport too? That is a really nice town about midway from Cal and Wash. You won't be too far from a bunch of us. Daisyruffles will be only about an hour away maximum. ZZtopsoil is very close. I will probably be about an hour and a half away. We get to the coast about two or three times a year. You will have to try to come inland to the Willamette Valley. Joann

I am really excited to be moving back. We left Newport about 9 years ago. We still have to find a place there. My DH will be staying with his boss for a while. He has a guest house that he is letting him stay in till we find something. I hear that property is so expensive up there now. We may have to rent for a while but that is okay with me. Less things to worry about. I will let you all know when I get there.
