The winter wind has arrived in northern Colorado today. I just saw on the news that a full grown tree, a barn, and a semi blew over today. They reported winds in the 60's and 70's miles per hour... what is this? WYOMING!? LOL :)

Alas, still no snow to kill off the flies and mosquitos... I'm actually hoping for it to come soon. I know as soon as it does, I'll be thrust into what date it actually is and feel way behind for the holidays. When it snows late like this, it always messes me up! haha One small snow in September would've gotten me totally acclimated to the holiday schedule, now I'll be scrambling... sheesh, I'm a simple creature :) Evolve by the seasons :) hehe ;)

Those are some major winds! I thought you guys got some snow not too long ago, but guess it wasn't enough or long enough to get those bugs. I know what you mean about the holiday schedule - unfortunately, we never do have seasonal changes to get me motivated, so I am always behind. LOL My sister is coming to visit this Christmas season, so I am determined to do better this year. We shall see...

Yes, they did get some snow in the high country, and also in Denver, but none here in goodle Loveland as yet :)

Hope you get some cold weather soon. Haven't paid attention to the weather reports since DH told me it was going to be in the 80s here for a while - still. Just as well - the greenhouse won't be finished until next weekend.

We had a little 5 minute blizzard yesterday morning. Literally, 5 minutes. Then later in the day, it was too hot, and I had to take off my sweater! :) Welcome to CO. :) I guess that wasn't enough to kill off the bugs grrr.... :)

we are getting your winds all day today-I didnt even walk outside!!
I swear i saw a few flakes of snow -even DH said it looks like it but its to warm out!

oh i hope to take off my sweater-but i dont think so!+
