Is there a Fragrant Gardening forum that Im overlooking?

South West, LA(Zone 9a)

I know I just signed up and I don't mean to stir the pot but this seems to be a huge topic elsewhere. Im kinda wondering why there would not be a forum for this here? Im not ranting just wondering.

Welcome, Heavinscent!

To answer your question, I guess there's never been an interest expressed in such a forum. We have many forums where you can start threads on fragrant plants: Roses & Brugs are both obvious choices for fragrance; we also have Perennials, Tropicals, Annuals, Vines & Climbers, or Garden Talk. If it becomes a problem for any of those forums to handle the volume of conversation on a particular topic (such as plants grown for fragrance), that would be a good time to ask for a new forum to be considered ;o)

Thank you Terry! I guess Im a little gun shy to bring up off topics. I see from other threads you know all about Spike and his new replacment's fireing squad. Its death by Disney as some here would say or Ivillage in my case. Im happy to know I can bring up other fragrant plants in the other forums. Either way I think a fragrant forum is a good I dea, but I will try your way. If anyone bites my head off Ill just tell them Terry said so :o)

You're welcome to tell 'em I said so - but I highly doubt you'll get decapitated for talking about flower fragrance in any of those forums ;o)

A fragrance forum sounds like an eggsalad idea to me! Let's do it! I have been wanting to know where I can pick up some sweet violets, actually, and to know if they will grow well in deepish shade.
