Hi, Dave!!! Aunty's been gradually trying to play "catch-up" here with all these new posts and forums that have been added since I was here last. Looks like it's going to take me awhile! This place looks GREAT!!! You've done a fantastic job! This place is definatly #1!!! I've missed y'all....and especially my old friend Granny Lois! :-) It's great to be back. Have a great day! Hi! I'm now a new member and trying to get around in this site.
I am from WI, zone 5a and actually a very new gardener. At age 50 I have finally found myself living in a home with a 1/2 acre of no flowers, so I have been planting and planting and planting. Its hard when you spent your childhood in Texas to not be able to grow the things you onced loved as a child but after all these years I'm adjusting. Lands I do miss the gardenia bush tho. I may have loads of questions so I hope I don't end up annoying people. I s there anyone a member from Waukesha WI????

Welcome to DG cececoogan!

If you click on Memberlist in the taskbar underneath the tabs at the top of the home page, you will be taken to a page where you can click on Wisconsin on a map and bring up all the members from Wisconsin. Maybe you will find someone from your town there.

Welcome, cececoogan! We moved from the City to a country place with a half acre of rocky, clay soil and some places where someone trucked in some other kind of soil. Just keep planting, digging and planting. Dave's Garden is the best place to find advice and encouragement. There are experts and newbees and all seem willing to share their experiences.
