Scenery vs. landscape in photo contest

Out of curiosity....what is the difference between a scenery picture (as in the Miscellaneous pictures) versus Landscape pictures? I'm not sure where I should enter my pics.

I asked for scenery (not garden landscape) and landscape (garden landscape) so that a mountain/beach view or some such wouldn't compete with garden landscaping.

Well I entered my pics wrong! I put my sceneries under landscape..guess I'll have to fix them!
