We are watching and waiting for the little ones

Had to copy one of the pumpkins that's making the email rounds this year.

Wished I had caught the little ones for you Brenda but their costumes are covered by winter wear so I just took a few pics to send to my kids (at this time of year they miss all this excitement ;)

C'mon, you must have more pumpkin pics. so far so good. Great even.

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

This one and the one above were taken while we were still setting up. Just took some new pics but the puter is saying the usb device is malfunctioning (maybe the camera is too cold too......or the Gremlins are really having fun in my puter! :(

What's the weather like around Winnipeg tonight?

I loved the pictures and the excitement. We are all snowed and iced in so no one out tonight. Thanks for the joy of your experiences. Your the best Pam.

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

Glad you enjoyed it Steve! :) Pretty quiet here too we only got around 50 tonight.....most of the kids have gone away to College now and the new families have pretty tiny ones. We were voted scariest of the scary by those that did brave the elements tho! :)~

Sorry, I got kicked of my puter for awhile. Your house looks great Pam. What's your new little bundle of fur called again? I saw him in your diary before. What a darling. We had 0 little goblins again this year, as expected. The ground is a nice pristine white with about a 4" mulch of snow. DH says it's staying. Ahch, when is he ever right anyway. Oh well, it's good for my perennials.

White Lake, ON(Zone 4b)

Spooktacular!

We don't get any kids out here, either echoes.

Sandy

Kind of a bummer, eh?

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

Running behind (as per usual these days). The kids named him Riley echoes but my name for him is Schatzi (he loves to sit in my lap so he can reach up with his paws to gently stroke my face and then moves in to give a big hug and kiss). We've had many special cats over the years but this one wins hands down for character.....he also loves to stalk and chase our dog Robbie (who is 10x his size) so that he can air box near his face and swat at his tail (lucky for him our previous cats got Robbie trained.....Robbie tried attacking them when we first brought him home).

Thanks echoes and Sandy. :) re no kids I know echoes rarely has goblins visit since she lives out in the country .... do you as well Sandy?

My Bones looks really cool! Never thought of making him into a spider, very clever.

Bea

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

Hey Bea :) That particular poor Mr. Bones has gone through a number of All Hallow's Eves and parts of him seemed to have grown legs so we figured some surgery was in order. :)

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 4a)

Great pictures, Pam! Luv the cuddly little kitty!! We had 32 and that is not normally what we usally would get. We used to get over 100.

Love your inspector Pam :-) Those are pretty neat pics. I love what you do for Halloween. I've got a couple I'll post on a new thread of my place. Sometime this week I want to post them all to my diary.

Thanks Brenda for reviving this thread!

Thanks Donna and Ginny (yep must admit he's stolen our hearts as well :). re low numbers it's always harder to attract them on a weekday night/when the neighbourhood is going through a generational transition period and esp when the temps drop/wind picks up. :(

When DD and DS left Riley was just a tiny kitten (boy are they gonna be shocked when they come home again). The above pics will help prepare them tho. ;)

Salt Lake City, UT(Zone 6a)

Pam can you post on the Holidays & Special Occasions next year? I promise to get my digital camera going by then and post pictures also - I need your enablement, I work with a bunch of guys and they just think I am nuts (my neighbors to do...) for how much I spend each year adding to the ole Hallows Eve collection. My favorite thing this year was "dressing" up the animated monsters they come in such cheap outfitts I can not help but "redress" so when I came to work they ask what did you do over the weekend they are rather shocked with my reply of "playing with dolls" (a 40+ woman should have better habits!)

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

Chuckling here (at work now).............. some prolly do but I find many adults sure enjoy driving by (& many still enjoy visiting a scary house....their grins can be bigger than the kids ;) BTW so many new forums have opened up I didn't even realize that there was a Holidays & Special Occasions forum :S (that prolly explains why yesterday I couldn't find the usual Hallowe'en threads in the Photo's forum).

re posting there I'll try to remember (give me a nudge too if you think of it then). Did you take pics of yours this year? Having made your own costumes for automated creatures sounds delightful! :)~
