I'm probably going to get teased for posting this but...

Not sure if I want my wife barefoot - she has those "Fred FIintsone' feet.

Did Barbara Walters come up with these...If you whaer a twee-what kind of twee whood you beee?

Not exactly Guy. I think it was the credit card comments that left me dumbfounded but barefoot in the kitchen would be a close second ;)

Prattville, AL(Zone 8a)

Wow - and I'm participating in a Hazelnut project for The Arbor Day Foundation! 'Course Bambi and friends ate three of them early last year and they had to be replaced. The verbiage is right on.:) Weird stuff you find on this forum. You folk are creative. Have a great gardening day - all of our woody shrubs and trees are blooming magnificently and beginning to leaf out. But we still got to get to the point our vehicles are green and yellow.

You guys crack me up!

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

Al it is a miracle that you kept anyone around for a second date let alone to get married. Your bad! Hornbeam Tree (the Good Taste) -- of cool beauty, cares for its looks and condition, good taste, is not egoistic, makes life as comfortable as possible, leads a reasonable and disciplined life, looks for kindness and acknowledgment in an emotional partner, dreams of unusual lovers, is seldom happy with its feelings, mistrusts most people, is never sure of its decisions, very conscientious.
I was listed as a hornbeam. No way does it fit. It falls apart on the not egoistocal. Heee Heee not me. leads a reasonable and diciplined life, HOOOOT. Never sure of my decisions. I have never made a mistake. Though, unlike Al, I looked for kindness and acknowledge-ment, and I wanted an emotional partner who is an unusual lover and she is my wife Karen.
Al while I'm up here in Alaska away from my honey I told her to read my Dmail to see what I was up to. Heee Heee

Saint Bonifacius, MN(Zone 4a)

Am I a . . . Carpinus? Why yes! But I'd say the bio fits about 65%. Oh wait, maybe not . . .

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Sofie,
Up in Alaska talkin' smack about me are you. I'll make sure Mrs. Sofie has something to read ....lover.
I thought your tree was a female Ginko - better look again.

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

thats great Al. Hahahahahahahahahah. I'm still laughing. You are a funnny GUY. See honey he is just kidding. I actually have a female and a male ginko. I can't wait till that urine smell starts. I will have fresh ginko to keep my mind fresh in my senior years. If I can remember to pick it. Your funny Al.

Quick Al, let's start D-Mailing sofer and act like we're fighting over who gets first dibs at him.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

That does sound hard to believe that people would fight over him though.

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

My wife would only understand why she is so fortunate to have me. And I her. We were made for each other. Opposites attract: Angel/A.. Hole, Patience/None, Quiet/Noisey, Peaceful/Napoleaneske. As you can see my wife is quite difficult to live with. HHeee. Heee Honey.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

I think Mrs. Sofie should have her own account here so you can quietly discuss your problems here when you are away . Hey I have $5 - I'll sign her up for a couple months.

I'll kick in the other $10, let's give her a whole year!

Say, I just realized Rick is a Hornbeam. A few seemed to apply but the others are out in left field for him.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Got to go see if 'BitterwifeinMT' is taken first.

man oh man... whatdidimiss? I went to the window to look at the lightshow and nothing makes sense now.

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

You didn't miss anything I was taking too much of the forum. Al and I were bonding. Heee Heee

Metuchen, NJ

Man, me too! What'd I miss? What'd I miss? (From a strong-minded, self-willed fig.)

You're a fig too? Well, that makes 3 of us now.

Elburn, IL(Zone 5a)

My wife is a leap year baby--she got left out. She is not a tree :(

Metairie, LA

Cannot believe that I am a Pine Tree, my least favorite of all trees. Should be an oak.

Coldwater, MI(Zone 5b)

Yea, and I'm a willow, which explains why I'm so thirsty. Steve does your reference to Napoleaneske mean your short or just stubby, HE,HE,HE...

Metuchen, NJ

Kevin, maybe your leap-year baby wife is a bird, hopping from tree to tree. Now what kind of bird is she? A Blue Jay (assertive but classicly beautiful), a Cardinal (bold and powerful, universally attractive) or a vulcher? Hmm.

Equil: you and me are a day apart! Hey Gemini!

Don't you just love when our birthdays fall on Father's Day!

Metuchen, NJ

Yeah, mine is on Father's Day this year. So I figure I'll just skip this year and not turn any older! Ha!

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

my birthday often fell on the day we got out of school. That was always a great party. June 2nd. I suspect that all we geminis actually are more like a 4 way grafted pear tree. We are different fruits all the time.
Yes Patrick I'm only 5'6" tall and all through school I had to kick butt to keep mine from being kicked. You big guys are mean. When ever someone wants to fight in my past I always said "what are you going to tell your girlfriend when I kick your butt". that always made them stop and think and I got out of a lot of challenges. Whew!

Metairie, LA

Oh how I wish I had read Guy's (Starhill Forest) comment before I wrote mine.

Beachwood, OH

Fig here - calling all Geminis. This was really funny. I saw my Mother a lot in the Poplar Tree. But what does it say that I married a Poplar? I never thought of that!

Coldwater, MI(Zone 5b)

Steve, I had the exact opposite experience in school. I was 6'2" and 170 lbs at twelve years old (6th grade). I was a gigantic kid. In the annual class group picture, I was always the one in the back row in the middle because I was a least head and shoulders higher than the other kids. Every little twurp with something to prove wanted to fight me. So, I had to hurt one of the challengers once in a while to save face and keep the rest at bay. I was a pretty shy kid and the whole experience was really annoying. Outside of school though, life was great in my neighborhood. I had a lot of other kids to hang out with my age. I had a pretty fun childhood overall. By the time I got to High school, everyone was too stoned to do much of anything aggressive...
So what does it mean if I'm a Weeping Willow born in the year of the Dragon with a Mars in Scorpio living with a Elm Monkey with a Leo Cusp. Is there hope? (why am I asking this crowd ;0)

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

I don't know if you saw "Planes Trains and Automobiles" but when Steve Martin finished his tirade to the rental car person, she gave you the answer to your question. Hee Hee.
I was different than the aggressive types. I always befriended you so no body would bother me with you around. I remember when I got in trouble in gym and our teacher had a method of putting you in the ring of classmates cheering for blood with Albert Lepoard to face off with. He was a mammoth man who I befriended that found life more difficult than most. So when he had to pound on me for being bad, he asked me if it was ok to "thump" me into the floor. What could I say. I learned not to do that one again. Ouch!

Mystic, CT(Zone 6b)

Patrick3852- I wish I'd gone to your high school! I'd rather hang out with stoners- they are happier and better-natured than drunks.

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

Boy this thread touches on a lot of childhood issues.

Metuchen, NJ

Childhood issues? I'm a Gemini, er, I mean fig. My inner self is still a child. Outer self? Let's see, today she's got a cold and hates being stuck inside.
