Thanks Elliot!
Jenks - I actually haven't noticed the bad smell either. Maybe its our sense
of smell? I sure don't mind though!
Are you getting invaded by Asian Lady Bugs?
Back in 1992 I was staying in an upstairs apartment on the back of an Ante-bellum mansion near Somerset, Ky. I called my DM and told her if the ceiling were covered in roaches I'd be freaking out, but since they were ladybugs I wasn't concerned.
They eventually left. Nothing died, nothing to vaccum up.
One of my nicknames is ladybug. And if a woman is acting testy, casually call her "Ladybug" and her demeanor will most likely get better. They have always been good luck and they eat bad bugs.
They also dress very snazzy.

Tammy, before we got an exterminator to spray for them, we had ladybugs flying around our heads, crawling on our computer keyboards, dying and making messes under our furniture, getting on halogen lamp bulbs and getting fried so they stank badly, and otherwise making life very unpleasant. It costs us 90 dollars once a year to have the exterminator spray for them. I think it is well worth it!
Yep. I'll check it out tomorrow.
Here's an interesting link that talks more about Tempo. Very encouraging.
Its safe for indoors use (I'm always concerned about the safety of these
sprays - even if they are for outdoors)

That site says vacuum cleaner is good enough for getting rid of ladybugs indoors. I don't think so, baba-looie. Not for the kind of infestations we get. Makes the vacuum cleaner stink, and it is a real nuisance either getting the vacuum cleaner out every time we want to get rid of some ladybugs, or leaving it out. We had HUNDREDS of them during the two years when we did not have the house sprayed. With the spraying, the numbers plummeted to near zero!
Thing is, Tammy, if they are already IN your house, I am not sure how much good it will do to spray for them. Best to ask the exterminator what he thinks before having it done. Perhaps it will kill them and keep them from crawling out of their hiding places on sunny or warm days, where they will congregate at the windows, trying to get out.
baba-looie eh? LOL
Yeah - we got THOUSANDS last year. I counted well over a hundred a day that I
vacuumed up. Every day. For many days.
This year we only have 1-2 here and there. I thought maybe we didn't get invaded
this year but that article says they hide in the cracks 'til late winter. Uh-oh. gotta
remember to check this out (I go to work and totally forget my stuff and then I get
home and every one is closed. Its terrible. well- probably good for work :-)
