Announcing two new uber gardeners!

I'm pleased to introduce two highly dedicated PlantFiles contributors who are now counted among our UBERs. Both of these members have spent countless hours adding new entries, uploading images and adding many details to complete existing entries. They have also worked closely with the PlantFiles editors to make their entries as accurate and thorough as possible.

JoanJ joined us in August 2001, and hails from North Dakota. During her time at DG, she's added nearly 800 plants (mostly Irises and other perennials), submitted more than 600 comments and 200-plus images, and helped fill out entries with over 27,000 details.

bootandall is from Blenheim, New Zealand, and joined us in August 2003, and has added over 250 entries for ornamental shrubs and perennials, as well as contributed almost 800 images and checked off more than 2,000 details.

What an exciting announcement for all of us! It's amazing to see how much the PlantFiles has grown since I joined a year and a half ago, and to see such familiar and worthy folks be recognized for their vast contributions. :-)
