Can't make a connection

I am unable to connect to DG from my home computer. (I'm using my daughter's laptop)
Any suggestions?

Assuming you can reach the internet from your home PC, try refreshing your browser, or even switching to a different browser temporarily. Occasionally, Firefox will cache a page and refuse to let go of it, even with refreshing, deleting all cookies, rebooting, etc. I've never figured out why, exactly, but switching to IE for a few hours and then switching back does the trick.

Sorry (I try to avoid geek-speak, but occasionally it happens.)

IE is Internet Explorer - which is the most common browser, even though it can be a buggy and virus-prone.

Firefox is a free browser that you can download in a few minutes and works very well 99% of the time (my cache issues notwithstanding.) Dave likes Firefox so much that he put a link to it at the bottom of DG pages (scroll down a bit to see it.)

Netscape is another browser that many users have available, and can come in handy in situations like this. If you don't have Netscape already installed, I'd recommend loading Firefox and see if that helps your situation.

I've use Firefox all the time and have never had a problem with it on DG. The one thing I've noticed is how much fewer bugs my virus scans detect.
