my anniversary present

My husband couldbt stand it and gave me my anniversary present early. Isnt it beautiful? You should see the fire. A caret and a half.

It is new but made to look old. I love it. The diamonds are very white and pretty and make my older diamonds look almost dull.

Did you get the same warning as me? "No gloves, NO RINGS!!!" He is still a little touchy about me losing a stone out of one of my rings while out digging. Figures at least if I wear gloves it increases the chance of finding it greatly.

Our anniversary is next week. He went and picked up the ring , which was made to his specifications. When he saw how pretty it was , he couldnt wait.
So, I had to go ahead and give him his present, which was a Mac Apple G4 laptop (he is an artist and does a lot of stuff on the computer with photoshop and illustrator.

Wow you guys give/get great gifts. I have to agree he has great taste, that ring is stunning.

I also know the feeling of getting early gifts, DH and I have been together for 15 years, married 10 but I cant remember a Christmas where I actualy got the gift on Christmas day. I usualy get them about 2 weeks before wich is when he goes out and buys them. Congrats again to you and DH.

Ironically, Howie would like to get a new wedding band since his is so big on him now and the etching is all worn off...And I would rather have a new computer than diamonds. LOL!

Early Bird Happy Anniversary to you both.
My DH bought me so beautiful of heart with little diamond Neckacle (SP) last few months ago for earlier for our anniversary oh loves it.... it is new arrival those real dark ruby and heavy heart thick it look so deep red to me but it is not red so different really new to me.

lol yes it would buy tons of daylilies, but it is like the best ever daylily right there on her hand in all seasons.

LOL my DH did that for our 16th anniversary, three nice sized diamonds in a somewhat plainer setting....I asked him why 16th was so special, and he said "I forgot last year"......Our 19th anniversary was last Tuesday. I got a card. Oh well, can't get diamonds all the time.

Yes, lots and lots and lots of daylilies, and other growing things, but you can't admire them in the wintertime.

I dont really wear jewlery-not even my wedding bands.
So diamonds and gold arent important to me id rather have daylilies and plants anyday!! :)
But i understand others like them and thats good with me.
all are very pretty!

I got daylilies for my anniversary-i bought them and told DH thanks!! lol
my house is stuffed with plants for the wintertime and i have tons and tons of pictures of my gardens so all is good!!

I love how it looks vintage. It really is a lovely piece of jewelry.

That's a lovely set of rocks Lisa. I was supposed to get a bigger diamond for our 5th anniversary and a second band for our 10th anniversary. Instead I keep getting kids. We rarely remember our anniversary until we are in the middle of dinner. LOL
