simply stunning!!!

RICHMOND, VA(Zone 7b)

Shirley, congrats on producing a new beauty; so glad to see it's hardy and odiferous, too.
Seems like you look for more than just "looks" in your progeny; Cupid's Blush hasn't had a bug all summer.
Great work!!

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Thanks Polly.
btw
Cupid's Blush is by Eric Knight

I sent it to you as my fav pink but she is not my baby .

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Congrats, Scoot and Susie. Tuffy is beautiful.

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

Does this one stay yellow or does it get orangish as the bloom ages?

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

She stays yellow ;-)

Thanks for asking Mary , I should have pointed that out.

There was one time when a Tuffy flower turned orange on me. Jan. 24th of this year the night temp was supposed to be in the low to mid 30's. Tuffy was the only brug I had in flower. And she was too pretty to take a chance that these first flowers for me would get damaged. She came in from the outside temp in the high 50's and she spent the night in a 72 degree kitchen. I woke up the next morning and the fragrance just about knocked me over. And there she sat ... orange! What a shock.

Tuffy sounds and looks like a perfect Brug. Congratulations to all involved with her! Bugs don't like her!! Terrific!!

Ach, I forgot that one Vicki .... lol
It bowled me over when that happened and you sent me that picture.

I don't know which one of us was more surprised ;-)

For sure you are a top notch test grower.

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

not top notch just in a different zone with a different experience.

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Folks , I'm not forgetting y'all ,

I had promised cuttings to a lot of people, but if I have extra I will post it here.

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Congratulations to both you & Susie! It appears that Tuffy certainly lives up to his name! If it can produce such exquisite flowers that are not bothered by cold, heat, humidity, bugs, or wind than Tuffy should be grown in each of the 50 States, Canada, Mexico & Europe (and the rest of the world too)! Way to go!!!

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

I cut Tuffy yesterday. Gosh it just about killed me. Finally after 4-5 months her flowers are normal size. She so hated her location in FL all day full sun. I'll be shipping the cuttings to those I promised either tomorrow or Wednesday.

Tuffy in a bowl! She is such a cheery kind of brug!

Look Scoot! Tuffy can make 4 pointers too! I found it on the ground when I was cutting her.

If i can keep the few i have alive through winter, I'll definitely put her on my wish list for warmer days :)

Dundee, OH(Zone 5b)

oh that 4 pointer is soo cute!

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

I'm so excited that I recently received this one from a generous donor. Look forward to seeing it next summer.

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

OMG Vicki, I love it !

..... but then I love what ever Tuffy does.

My Tuffy mother plant is still blooming in the winter quarter.

Blooms are smaller and paler but I'll take whatever I get this time of year..

You did a great job raising her ;-)

Corte Madera, CA

Hamilton, OH
